I am a bad patient. I had had so many bad experiences with other dentists that I just avoided going until things went too far. I started seeing Dr. Sonia Kim about eight years ago and am delighted to report that she is amazing. She listens, she’s patient and has a lovely staff (Lizzie is my favorite) and she does exceptional work. She is honest and she cares. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

My experience was about as good as a visit to the dentist can be. On the recommendation of a friend I started going to the Kims a couple of years ago, after my previous long-term dentist retired, and I haven't been sorry. So far I've just had semiannual cleaning/exams, no repair work, so I've dealt mainly with the hygienists, who are great. Brief meetings with Calvin and Sonya have been just fine. They're both very nice, with a calm and reassuring manner.

I've been going to Dr.s Kim and their team for years and years. My kids see them, my parents see them, and many of my friends see them. The Dr.s Kim and the dental staff are always knowledgeable, friendly, helpful and compassionate. The front office staff is helpful and efficient. I am very very happy working with them!

I just had my first appointment at the office and had a great experience. Dr. Calvin Kim was very knowledgeable and I appreciated that he didn’t push any extra treatments or plans on me. He was thoughtful with his responses to my questions about mouth guards and TMD treatments. Rose was super helpful and kind and the front desk staff was great. Highly recommend and will absolutely be going back for all of my dental care!

The front desk personnel are very polite and helpful. My dental hygienist Lizzie was not available today so I had Faye instead. She was very professional and gentle, and she took the time to explain and teach. She is awesome.
And, of course, I love Dr Kevin Kim’s bedside manners and professionalism.

We have been patients of Dr. Calvin & Sonia Kim for several years. Our journey to the Kim’s practice happened when my husband broke his tooth and his regular dentist would not work him in. They weren’t sure when they could see him. A chance meeting with Dr. Sonia Kim led to them working in my husband right away. The high quality equipment, well trained staff and excellent workmanship impressed my husband and myself. We left our previous dentists and are incredibly happy with the excellent customer service that all the team at the Kim’s practice perform.
When we go in for cleanings every hygienist is friendly, efficient and always on-time. Both Dr. Calvin & Dr.Sonia keep to the schedule. You never feel rushed and have plenty of time to ask questions.
Last year I decided to go ahead and spend the money and do Invisalign. Yes, it’s expensive. The results were phenomenal!! In 7 months I was amazed at the transformation!! Again Dr. Sonia was an excellent communicator on what to expect throughout this whole process.
I can’t thank the staff enough for all their care and hard work! Wendy is ON IT when it comes to your appointments and making sure your insurance is billed out properly. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Candace, Lizzie, and Adi. They all remember something about you personally to make you feel like you are a valued client.
If you have not made an appointment with the Kim’s yet, please do. The workmanship and gentle way they care for you will make you wonder why you didn’t find them sooner!

Had another actually enjoyable dental cleaning by Lizzy. In part bc I've gotten better about following her advice so the visit is discomfort free. She's gentle and always asks how our family is doing and shares bits of her life that relate to ours. So glad we found her after the dual-retirement of our wonderful pair of former DH of nearly 30 years.
