*3 Crowns in Less Than 5 years, due to Dental Negligence*

I started being a patient here, I believe, since 2019, before they changed their business name... They had the best reviews during that time.

I had a root canal done with a crown around that year, I think, that went pretty well until a year after or so, it broke. I had it replaced (no fee). It broke again the following year or so (no fee) and I saw Dr. Ben that time because Dr Nguyen wasn't available, he examined my crown and told me it wasn't a good fit for me. When I saw Nguyen the next time I made sure I told him that comment. Nguyen said that It Was made properly and that the problem was my tooth was "too high" so he wanted to sand my molar down more (I got nervous!). Well things started to get ugly fast after that, while my THIRD crown was sent to be made I began to notice redness and swollen gum around where the crown would go. The day comes when the crown gets here and I assume Nguyen cleaned around the area, tells me my gum doesn't look well, proceeds to cement the crown and he had also declined his assistant to take an xray after he cemented it in front of me. Weirdly his assistant insisted once more to tell him they always take one after it's cemented and he declines in front of me. I didn't question as I trusted fully what he was saying. He had definitely cemented it pretty hard on, that I feared the force used had fractured my tooth as I did hear a sound! I let a few weeks or months go by, so the swolleness and redness (bleeding) can go away. I was having pain in my neck due to a swollen lymph node, and my pcp mentioned it's not a medical concern but a dental.

Of course, this happens once i call Blossom Dental....
I was overdue for xrays and exam so even though the receptionists were willing to give me an exam with Nguyen, the office manager, Marisa, takes over the phone call to inform me it will cost me xrays and exam so Nguyen can help me as they wouldn't give me an appt without it because he would be "blind". I went through lots of radiation at hospitals that year i insisted for an exam only to speak to him about my crown whether it was suitable for me, ask questions and for him to only see the outside gum swollen and red around the crown.

I got dental insurance quickly after; as I was paying this office Cash out of pocket for all the work done. I saw another dentist after i was forced to pay blossom dental and turned me down for a simple follow-up I wanted out of charge because I believed I had the right. My current dentist believes I may be dealing with a fracture as I continue till this day to have a swollen gum around the crown and may have bone loss now! I CANNOT EAT since my crown was cemented on that side (past one year) because food gets in the gums so easily now. I, HATE MY CROWN, I am not happy and they did nothing to help even after several compalints were made via phonecall&text.

Marisa as an office manager, should have maintained her place and shown empathy and provide patients an opportunity to make them happy by finding solutions and not always thinking about patients money. I tried a couple times to speak or see Nguyen, and Marisa always targeted my calls as if my profile was already flagged to go through her first before the dentist. She stated Nguyen has NEVER made a mistake; as if humans don't ever commit one. This office wanted to get rid of me (Attached photo) Marisa declined in answering some important facts about their wrongdoing and didn't offer me a resolution. They had even told me they accept my dental insurance which I later call my insurance and find out they do not have them listed.

I shouldn't have had 3 crowns placed in a span of less than 5 years. Am I wrong to think that? I had to partially pay for the last Gold METAL crown they cemented (NOT MY FAULT).

On the other hand, Luis was the best hygienist I had and the friendliest person I had never seen change throughout the years. He remains a great example for the rest of his staff, including his superiors.

Dentists can be scary for some, but once you visit this office your mind will be completely changed! I have been coming here for a couple of years now and I can truly say that they are friendly, have a clean space, and respect your time so that you are not waiting for long periods of time.
Dr. Ben Dronov is so gentle and makes your comfort his priority. He does not rush and strives to give you the best counsel on your oral health. I trust him with my teeth and am confident that he is honest with his recommendations.
They remodeled their office and I love how they are keeping their equipment up to date so that their customers are getting the best out of their appointment experience! I drive a distance of about 30-40 minutes to this office and it’s SO worth it!

Going to the dentist has never been this easy and accommodating. Novan Dental staff are very approachable and understanding. They greet you with a smile that is contagious. A positive attitude which make one's visit not scary especially to kids. And from the dental assistant to the hygienist all the way to the dentist, they treat you with care that makes your experience with a personal touch and going here was a good choice. The place is clean and relaxing for waiting. Parking is not an issue since they have their designated parking spots just along the facility.

Use to go here for years! it was good until it wasn’t! the new staff is rude & disrespectful. They’re quick to be dismissive to not do their job. customer service is important. they’re lacking it! i won't ever be returning!!. Also, they’re quick to add on extra money not notify you about it! as the late fees pile up, their money hungry. they mess up on their work want you to pay for it. make it make sense!

Luis, the dental hygienist, put me at ease and made me feel comfortable during my exam and cleaning. Dr. Novan was warm and kind. A great experience and I usually have anxiety about going to the dentist.

Dr. Ben was attentive, thorough, and personable and took the time to explain things. He is really nice and probably one of the best dentists I’ve had. Dr. Novan , Dr. Ben and the staff at Blossom Dental are top-notch!!! The doctors, hygienist, and dental assistance really care about your dental care. The office is always very clean. I've been coming to this practice for many years, and every time I come, they've updated something to enhance the service for their clients or some other beautiful update. My family and I love coming here. We drive from Elk Grove to come because we know that we're going to get the very best care! They offered me a blanket even before I said I was cold, they lube your lips repeatedly with vaseline to prevent cracking when opening your mouth, fast and efficient procedures, I had my first fillings done there and they agreed to do them without anesthesia when I requested it. They work with you and they care about you.
I even got a first visit little gift! 100% recommended!
