DR DUNLAP HAD THE WARMEST MOST WELCOMING BEDSIDE MANNER I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN YEARS. HE WAS PROFESSIONAL, WELL INFORMED AND TOOK HIS TIME TO ANSWER ALL OF MY QUESTIONS REGARDING MY UPCOMING SURGERY. When I asked if I could have my implant done on the same day that my tooth had been pulled he replied by saying "let's not rush mother nature"and recommended allowing my mouth time to heal. It was clearly evident that he had my best interest at heart. It appears he treats all of his patients as he would a member of his own family. I was comfortable and at ease from the first moment he walked in the room. Needless to say, I was beyond pleased when I left and looking forward to my follow up visit in 2 weeks. Then to my amazement, later that evening, I received a phone call from Dr. Dunlap checking up on my progress and reminding me to take my antibiotics. I was just amazed. He restored my faith in humanity that day because it is not very often that you receive that kind of treatment in 2016. It's sad but true . I would refer Dr. Dunlap to all my friends and family!! 10 STARS!!! Thank you!!

Dr. Kasperian is awesome. You can tell she’s very passionate about her job and cares about her patients. She started as a hygienist and worked her way all the way up! Takes extra time to explain everything well and all available treatment options. Very reasonable and transparent pricing! I’d give them more than 5 stars if it were possible. Highly recommended.

After about 4 years and 2 dental implants, I was not happy with my previous periodontist. I was in need of 2 more implants, but did not want a repeat performance of what I experienced there. I decided to give Twin Oaks a try. I am thrilled with this office. The staff is very nice. The hygienist, Kylie does a great job too. I met Dr. Kasperian. I can't say enough about her. I agree with the other positive reviews here but I just wanted to say I never knew dental implants could be practically pain free compared to the previous implants. She told me her main concern was my comfort. It was something I expected to be dreadful but she made it seem minimal. I had wondered why Dental Implants were so popular yet so painful. Dr. Kasperian proved to me that does not have to be the case. I had no swelling, no bleeding afterwards, and very little pain. I will be using this office for many years to come. I am very pleased and I highly recommend them. Thank you Twin Oaks!

I have been going to this place for a 5+ years never had experienced any type of issue with any of the other doctors. Last week i went in for an incision (possible popcorn stuck) in between my gum and tooth so i was getting a surgery to have that removed. The doctor kasperian said it was gonna be a minor cut and i will need one stitch in a week and a half i will be able to go back to eating normal. In the process of the procedure she talked to me about other things like what insurance do i recommend for her to get etc. When she finished she said she went ahead and did and extra procedure because she saw extra tissue on my wisdom tooth so she opened up and put another stitch. Its been 4 days i now have an infection on my wisdom tooth the tissue is still there and i can't even sleep. I never had an issue with my wisdom teeth and if she had any recommendations I'm very open to those just not without my authorization it's very unprofessional for any doctor to feel free to do a surgery just because they feel it's ok.

At my previous dentist they brought in a periodontist to give me an estimate. It was outrageous! So I began to search for another periodontist. Thank goodness for Dr. Dunbar. Their office is pleasant and friendly. There were no surprise charges and in the end I paid $4000 less than what the previous periodontist had estimated. I continue to go back for my maintenance because I love that office so much

I check doctors out before I use them, but; I was in great pain. I had swollen gums. Since I had no appointment, Terrance Leary D.D.S. suggested I see Robert M. Dunlap D.D.S., M. Ed. at Twin Oaks Periodontics in Chula Vista. Although he had a full day, Dr. Dunlap fit me in between appointments. What a God sent.
That said, if you are looking for top-notch and professional periodontal care (surgical and/or non-surgical) look no further. Dr. Dunlap and his team members are second to none, in my humble opinion. I live in the Point Loma area and I think Twin Oaks Periodontics is more than worth the drive, even if I am an old guy. Trust me and call and see for yourself. Good Health to all!

Worse experience I've ever had at a dentist office asked for a firm estimate on my work see if I can afford it was rudely answered by CEO dentist ( what u think this is free ) doctor got upset cause I told him I possibly couldn't afford it and maybe I'd shop around comes out and confronts me in the waiting room and says what did u say charges 100 dollars when I was supposed to pay $23 only notified my insurance about it they never told insurance they charged me anythinh be ware of this place doctor is nice at dirt but when u can't afford it he gets upset not even in Mexico u get treated this way not profesional at all
