Being clinically diagnosed with severe PTSD, I came in very nervous as I would with anything. But the staff here are so warm and friendly while maintaining the utmost professionalism that I was at ease. After several visits, what was normally something that was extremely difficult for me for no justifiable reason; everything from the warm hearts of the staff, the relationship they build with you, their genuine concern for your unique personal situation and how they can help, the dentist is now just another appointment on the calendar. Not only nothing to be afraid of, but something to look forward to as a great learning experience from such knowledgeable professionals and the relationships you develop with the kind folks over at iSmile.

On Friday evening, I had a filling on my front tooth knocked out by my 8 month old puppy who had jumped up and head-butted me in the jaw. Of course, I was worried I would have to spend the entire weekend with a partial front tooth. They were able to get me in the next day and provide me with a new filling that looked even better than the previous one! My tooth looks very natural and I couldn’t be happier with the results and my overall experience as a new patient. Highly recommend!

As I was driving from Aptos to Scotts Valley - on a Saturday - I realized I had lost a crown. My regular dentist isn't available on Saturdays, so I googled "emergency dentist" and found two nearby choices in Santa Cruz. Since iSmileSpa had mostly fantastic reviews, I called them and was surprised to find they were in on Saturday and could see me right away. I was even more surprised to learn that they are an independent, family-run operation and were even in network for my insurance (Delta Dental of CA). So far so good ... and even better, I was greeted and treated cordially, compassionately, and kindly by Dr. Connor Malek, his sister McKenzie, and the two dental assistants on the team. Completing forms and getting the treatment plan pricing was fast and easy - all digital. Even for a needle-phobic like myself, the numbing process was pretty much pain and anxiety free. Since they make their own crowns on the premises, I was able to get the underlying cavity drilled and the crown made and secured in place all in a single visit. This was such a good experience, I plan to permanently switch over from my old dentist to iSmileSpa.

The doctor was able to get me in fast, and was able to do two crowns and four fillings in the same day.
The crowns were high and a month later the cold sensitivity is back worse than before.
It’s impressive he’s 29, but the doctor needs some more experience cause I’m in immense pain

I visited iSmile spa for the first time today and had a really great experience! From the moment I walked in the door Kenzie was incredibly friendly and helpful. I don’t know that I have ever had such a thorough and educational examination. It genuinely felt like they cared about me and my oral health.
