I want to take a moment to "thank and recognize" Four Peaks Endodontics, Dr. Trond Hegle, and his staff for their outstanding knowledge, compassion and expertise in Endodontics. I have had several root canals over the years, but this root canal was different- in a positive way! Dr. Hegle has a state-of-the-art, well-equipped, modern endodontics office. I was referred to a different office by my dentist, but I instead searched my insurance network to find an endodontist "in-network". Dental procedures are very expensive today, and I have insurance, so I wanted to use it. The items not covered by my insurance were explained and discounted to a reasonable amount. I met with Dr. Hegle after the friendly and professional assistants took the 3D ConeBeam images to confirm the tooth really needed the procedure. This advanced radiography enhances the doctor's ability to see the exact root and tooth structure so avoid any possibility of failure or need for follow up treatment. Dr. Hegle met with me in consult and explained my options. He encouraged me to keep the tooth vs extraction (it was a molar, and I contemplated removing it). You always want to preserve natural teeth, if possible, to prevent bone loss, bite issues, and problems down the road. He explained the GentleWave technology which was a big differentiator for me. I have had root canals fail in the past so I was eager to have an endodontist that believed in providing the best outcomes for his patients so he invested in this new technology. GentleWave helps to ensure the entire root and infected material are completely flushed out. The human eye cannot see microscopic material left in the root, but this technology reaches the entire root and can eliminate the chance of re-infection or re-treatment. It also protects more of the tooth structure so you do not end up losing the tooth in a few years. It was painless and much better than the old-school technique that squeaks when the Dr is trying to remove the pulp! The local anesthetic was sufficient to complete the procedure without any discomfort. I was quickly on my way after the entire procedure from start to completion took less than 2 hrs. Thank you again, Dr. Hegle for you exceptional talent, commitment and investment in your patients. I would highly recommend Four Peaks Endodontics to anyone reading this review and all of my friends and family. I'm very satisfied and happy I kept my tooth- with Dr. Hegle's help!

I had a great experience here. They were able to get me in within the hour for a root canal & there was no pain at all. Dr. Hegle was kind, informative & the process was quick & painless. I wish I could remember the name of the dental assistant, but she was very sweet as well.

This place is top-notch. The entire staff has always been amazing from the front office to the assistants who take images and help with procedures.
Dr. Hegle is a highly skilled professional who truly cares about you and his work. I have had root canals on four different teeth here over the last few years. I am extremely pleased with the care I've received from Four Peaks. I highly recommend them.

This office try’s to upsell you on things not covered by insurance such as the Gentlewave technology and the 3D conebeam imaging. I had a root canal done 2 years ago by Dr.Hegle. It failed. One of the roots wasn’t even cleaned out and he didn’t get to the very bottom of another one. Now I have an infection and need to get the root canal redone. I asked his office what he could do for me with the cost since he did it the first time. He wouldn’t discount anything since I had declined the GentleWave ( completely unnecessary since an endodontist should be able to do a root canal without it) and since my primary dentist did the restoration of the tooth. Needless to say, I will never go back or refer anyone to this office.

I hardly ever write reviews, but I had to share my experience here to hopefully encourage anyone else in my position anxious and very averse to getting the work done I know I need, stressing over every review anxious about the pain of the procedure and judgement for letting it get to this point, this is the place you're looking for, Dr Hegle handled each of my worries perfectly which I didn't think I'd be able to find someone who catered to all of my sensitivity to the topic, embarrassment for procrastinating so long, and my dread of a subpar root canal procure causing extreme pain. I was actually referred here after pouring over tons of reviews and sites for dentists to finally found one I felt ready to make an appointment with because I seriously needed to after 7 years and was nervous because I didn't get to hand pick this office but the initial consultation was great the Dr was friendly and understanding and treated me with dignity. He provided several options for how to put me at ease for the root canal and I didn't feel judged by the staff at all. When I came back to have the procedure done I chose to use anti anxiety pills as a form of sedation and I was kind of awake still but the fear was gone I was relaxed and Dr Hegle did a great efficient job, I felt literally 0 pain during the procedure, they had good music playing to distract from the sound and it was over as fast as it started. I have irrationally intense dental anxiety and I would not hesitate to book another appointment here in future if needed.
