I’ve been going to Zion Dental of Hurricane since moving out west almost two years ago. I have consistently had a great experiences from front office professionals, to the warm and friendly dental assistants, to top notch hygienist and dentists.
Recently I decided to finally ask what could be done about the bad damage my front upper teeth had from years of grinding.
I am so fortunate the dentist I asked was Dr. Phillip Acevedo, who had a solution in mind that was affordable and exactly what I was hoping for. It is clear right away that Dr. Acevedo is extremely skilled and passionate about his work. He also has a very comforting personality, and way of educating patients that makes you feel at ease and assured you are in good hands.
Honestly what he did to restore my smile can only be described as a work of art, seen in the before/after pic. Dr. Acevedo expertly corrected and re-contoured my upper teeth, for a fraction of what veneers or other options I was considering would have cost.
I am overjoyed with the results, I smile all the time now with full confidence, and am so grateful for him.
He explained every step completely, made custom adjustments in my follow-up appointment, and fit me for an occlusal guard using advanced technology to keep my smile it’s best and prevent further grinding damage. He did all of this with genuine compassion and understanding of the anxiety folks like me get from visiting the dentist office. I highly recommend this practice and this phenomenal doctor.

Great experience! From the time I checked in until I left everything was top notch. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff, AMAZING cleaning by Jasmine the dental hygienist, she’s the BEST, very thoughtful and communicative..Dr Powell was great! Will return again!

The staff are friendly and kind. Nicole at the front desk works hard to schedule you in quickly (no waiting for weeks for an appointment). I have appreciated this so much! Dr. Phil Acevedo has provided me skilled care, is personable and willing to answer my questions and help me make the best choice. I highly recommend Zion Dental.

This might be the best dentist I have ever been to. I felt relaxed and actually really enjoyed getting my teeth cleaned! I highly recommend if you’re looking for a good honest dentist!

Doctor Ace is amazing! Fit me in last minute as a new patient when I was in pain! Referred to a surgeon for extraction and is now fitting me
In same day once again to begin a treatment plan as I only have a few weeks to do it. Explained everything in great detail. I’ve never had a more painless dental experience!

If I could give a zero I would. Zion cancelled my appointment because I didn’t confirm I was coming. I live 30 minutes away if I wasn’t going to make it I would have called them like I have done before. I looked at my messages and had a confirmation message sent to me 24 hours prior. Why didn’t I get a cancellation message? The receptionist was less than helpful. Myself and my husband will not be returning. Completely unprofessional experience. I should send them a bill for wasting my time.

Tylee was great she explained everything before she did it. Didn’t rush the appointment and was knowledgeable about her job. She made me feel comfortable. Super impressed with her. This was my first time getting worked on at Zion dental.

30 minutes after I wrote the top of this review they called asking for double the money I paid blaming the insurance company. I talked with the office manager and she wasn’t helpful repeatedly stating”I’m sorry your insurance company made the mistake. As this was the first time I have ever been there. I will pay the money but will not go back since I know how the office is run and in the future if there is an issue I know the office manager will just repeat herself. It’s a shame because they have a short sighted outlook on business.

My reply to the owner. At NO point was I advised to contact my insurance company. You booked me for a 3 hour appointment for maybe 1.5 hours of work. As I said before you are short sighted in your business approach. I asked your office manager to have you contact me and instead of you doing that you responded to a Google review. Thanks for really try to deal with the situation. I paid you your money so be happy. Been in Hurricane for 25 yrs and the first time I have had this nonsense.

You know how when we even think about going to the dentist we have a lil panic attack...well, I've never been so at ease with a dentist office as I did here!! I'm so happy I chose Zion Dental--- best place ever, everyone there makes you feel at ease.
