Inverness Smiles is the “gold standard” of Dental practices in Alabama.

It’s refreshing when you walk in and get greeted by Sunny that always has a great smile and great demeanor each and every visit!! No attitude or unhappy faces that look like they don’t want to be there look as some doctor offices have behind the check in.

The entire staff has a passion for making patients feel welcomed as if you were at home.

The front desk always asks if you want a bottle of water before it’s your time to get a cleaning and/or a procedure.

The wait time is always less than 3 minutes. Dr. Aiken takes his time when he cleans your teeth and answers all questions and isn’t in and out in 2 minutes like most dentists. Dr. Aiken listens and answers questions with a thorough answer.

Dr. Aiken has helped me get my TAP devise fixed early morning before opening or late at night after hours.

One of the many tests that Dr. Aiken conducts is the check for oral and neck cancer along with lymph nodes and thyroid cancers. I’ve never had a dentist so thorough and proactive!! No extra charge. He truly has a passion for his craft.

If you are looking for a new dentist or looking for a new one with your dental plan then I highly recommend Inverness Smiles!!!! A++

I absolutely love Dr Aiken and his beautiful wife Sunny!! Inverness Smiles is great family owned dentistry! They took great care of me. I had to have 2 extractions and a partial denture made. The partial denture arrived earlier than expected. I received a text to see if I wanted to come in the next day. Bedside manner is awesome Dr Aiken keeps you informed with every step he's about to take while doing the procedure. They are very thoughtful too. They noticed that I was nervous and cold. I received a throw to keep warm before and during my procedure♥️♥️

I will be back with family too!!

Today Jan.6, 2025, I had my first appointment. It was at 8:00. I arrived just a few minutes early, and the moment I opened the door I was greeted with a warm and friendly smile from the receptionist. We spoke of the weather and I proceeded to sit down. Soon after I sat down the door opened and I was greeted by yet another warm and friendly person this time it was none other than Dr. John Aiken himself. When I tell you I have never been more comfortable with any dentist in my entire life, well today I was. He took his time with me I didn’t feel rushed, and he explained what needed to be done so that I understood. Just the overall quality of service and atmosphere was TOP TIER. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL MY FAMILY AND FRIENDS!!! Inverness Smile YOU ROCK!!!

If you’re looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Dr. John Aiken and his staff at Inverness Smiles. Normally I’m all about supporting local businesses, but I had a dental emergency on Friday and Dr. Aiken’s office was literally the only dentist I could find with availability today. Believe me when I say I called EVERY dentist I could.

I had zero wait time from the moment I walked in, was greeted by my friend Yehseon Jeong, and immediately escorted to a room. Dr. Aiken then spent significant time with me in an effort to formulate a plan to save my tooth, which is miserably infected. Sadly, he had to refer me to an oral surgeon for an extraction, but we have a plan to fix my many issues once I’m healed up.

Dr. Aiken’s office promptly provided me with a treatment plan and sent my x-rays to the oral surgeon. All I had to do was make the appointment! Overall, it was a very pleasant experience and one I’m going to repeat in the near future.
