I successfully wore dentures from 2007 to just last year and felt so confident smiling for pictures and eating foods I needed teeth to bite into. Then I moved and sadly my dentures didn’t. It got to be pretty late in 2024 and I still hadn’t found a dentist who would work with me to fit me for a pair. I was really thinking I would have to keep waiting when my Medicare Advantage plan (United Healthcare) came up with the name of a
local dentist and I said a prayer and made an appointment. Well, it was the best decision I’ve made as yet. Hesitantly I walked in, not having been in a dentist office since early 2000’s and it was esthetically satisfying and the staff were so nice. There were cute fiddle toys made by the dentist himself with a 3-D printer. I thought to myself, what a skilled man he is. And I was right. He made me feel comfortable in his presence and he was friendly and knowledgeable about dentistry and how insurance works. His assistant was too. They talked with me about a very workable plan and I walked into the lobby happy knowing that I’d be smiling again in 2025. They wished me happy holidays and I said same to you.

Make a move in the right direction dental wise and go see Dr David Bruce. You won’t be disappointed

We had a wonderful first visit! Everyone single person from the front staff to doctor were exceedingly kind, caring and professional. The office is beautiful, clean and high technology. The hygienists were excellent and took the necessary time to thoroughly clean our teeth. The Dr Bruce was very thorough, took time to listen and ask questions and didn’t try to sell us anything we didn’t need. You can tell that he is an honest and decent human being, and loves what he does! Overall, we feel like everyone treated us like family and would highly recommend this practice! There are so many dentists in this area, but we are so thankful /fortunate to have found Dr Bruce! We think he is truly outstanding and one of a kind!

We took our two daughters (8,11) here today and couldn’t have had a better experience! Both the hygienists (Shannon and Hunter) were so good with our children, and made the whole experience stress free and fine. Dr Bruce put both the kids at ease and was very kind and thorough. Absolutely wonderful experience! My dentist of many years retired and I found my way to Lagniappe. I was excited to see a familiar face, Christina, who is just the very best and very thorough. Dr. Bruce made me feel like I’d been his patient for years, very nice, and addressed any questions I may have about treatment. I have to admit that I don’t do “change” very well and was a bit nervous before my appointment. I’m so happy to say I have a new dental home. ?

First off I am terrified of dentist. So bad in fact that I once injured one because I was so scared. Dr. Bruce talked to me about everything that he was doing and there was no surprises about what was happening. He informed me he wasn’t going to waste my money trying to save my tooth which was broken beyond repair. I liked that because it showed that he wasn’t just in it for the money. His staff are the best I have met. I explained a bad experience where I was not numb and the dentist went on anyway. He made sure that I was numb and took the time for everything to kick in before he started. My extraction ended up being a surgical type which is the most expensive but even then the price is very affordable. Without a doubt I think I have found my new dentist. I don’t put my name behind anyone but I am willing to do it for Dr. Bruce.

As a new patient, Dr. Bruce & his staff exceeded my expectations. I was able to complete my new patient paperwork online, so check in was a breeze. I was called back for my appointment on time and I was treated with upmost care regarding all my concerns. Shannon is a great hygienist and made great efforts to effectively communicate the procedures. She listened to my concerns intently and was very patient. Dr. Bruce’s examination was thorough and I appreciate the time he spent with me. The environment is impeccably clean and comfortable. I’m very pleased with my decision to seek care from Lagniappe Dental and look forward to my next appointment.
