This place is professional and efficient, I do miss the old school dentist with hygienic helping each and not the factory style (1 dr and 15 helpers) I came for a cleaning with a good insurance and somehow a cleaning turn into a deep cleaning 600$ in total only 150$ out of pocket I do understand you have to make money buy this just seem outrageous to me 35 min for 600$ . Won't go there again , on top of that a filling I didn't need for another 2800$ , which fell after 2 years . Will never step here again.

DONT SKIP- FULLER SMILES OVER TREATS for $$$

I don’t usually write reviews, but felt compelled to warn potential patients about Fuller Smiles. I came in for a chipped filling and was told I had nine cavities, needed a root canal, gingivectomy, and two onlays. Even with great insurance, they said it only covered a fraction and quoted me $4,500 out-of-pocket.

I got a second opinion, and THANK GOD I did. The other dentist said I had only four cavities, no root canal, gingivectomy or onlays needed. The cost was over $3,250 LESS and mostly covered by insurance.

This place feels like a scam- they certainly over treat for the extra $$. Get a second opinion before trusting their diagnosis.

They call themselves dentist I call them something else. I tell them I'm in extreme pain from the extensive damage to my jaw bone and bone graft due to a bad crown that needed replacement.
Shortly after the operation I call their office and tell them that the motrin they prescribed isn't working for me and i need something stronger. For which the receptionist replies "unfortunately we will not be able to prescribe you anything stronger than Tylenol 3"! Like if I need anything stronger I must be an addict? What a joke, I told them I have a high resistance to pain meds, and yes I've been hospitalized several times. I know what the pain routine is and these people must be beginner students.. Not even suggesting an ice compress, warm salt water or maybe a chamomile tea compact to sooth the pain.
I went home and had a rum and coke (1.5oz) every 3 hours and I don't even drink! But it helped take the edge off and improved the mood which was what I needed.
I also had problems with the scheduling. Yes I was 20 minutes late to the first appointment but the second two were on them. So now I have been up for three days and last night made four. Without a I'm sorry or we'll try harder next time? Silence..Only deny minimize and blame? Then she snatches the card out of my hand like I was trying to leave? Get some manners, body-language isn't illegal but it means alot I mean 'do you smell something bad' or are you wrinkling up your nose cause your glad to see me?
I even wrote them a text to tell them my unhappy feelings and how I had been treated - yet silence? Hey your silence speaks louder than words. Stop torturing your patients. Do they pay you extra to leave me in extreme pain or did you do it for free! ....I thought so.
So now I wait for there reply. They still have my money but do you think I'm going back? Not even. You have to be nice to take my money and These citizen This is highway robbery.I signed the contract under duress.

From the moment I walked in my experience was great. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming and the dental staff were friendly and professional throughout. Dr. Katie took the time to take pictures of a tooth she was concerned about and showed me on a big screen exactly what was up. She then went and checked my previous dentist's x-rays from a year ago to determine if further investigation was warranted (it wasn't thankfully!!!)

In and out quickly and treated well throughout. Highly recommend Fuller Smiles

First visit was amazing. The last three visits were very poor. They mixed my records up. They tried canceling my appointment due to scheduling conflicts which were known in advanced, but didn’t cancel/reschedule my appointment till after I showed up. They had to redo my x-rays multiple times. We are finding a new dentist.

I am so thankful for Dr. Katie and her staff at the ocean park Fuller Smiles office. The office staff is so courteous and tries to find the best appointment available. The hygienists are friendly and thorough. However, Dr Katie is truly amazing and has helped me through some tough dental situations with kindness and professionalism. She doesn’t settle for anything than the best and ensures I am happy before I leave. I highly recommend Fuller Smiles in Santa Monica.

I highly recommend this Dental group specifically Dr. Katie. Dr Katie is highly proficient and kind dentist and made my dental visits easy. I have very sensitive teeth and she made sure that I felt as ease at all times. The office is clean, with state of the art equipment and friendly staff.

I really appreciate the later appointment times, working from 8-4:30, makes it really hard to get in anywhere without taking part of the work day off. Dr. Katie was so kind and great to work with, she was thorough with my evaluation. Jesse was very thorough with polishing and was very nice. I'll be back in 6 months
