I rarely write reviews but I feel like I should here (this place doesn't seem to be getting enough love). I've been coming to this office for about 8 years now. In the past, there had been some issues with either scheduling or staffing or whatever. Lately, though (especially the last couple visits) everyone has been amazing! Super friendly and caring and personable and treating my dog like royalty, like he feels he should be treated. I can't say I look forward to going to the dentist but if I gotta do it, this is the place!

What a good experience. At first I had some issues with the scheduling but a nice person called me back and resolved our issue. I brought my son in for a cavity, which was scary for him, but the Dr and the staff were so patient and gentle. I’m pleased to say that I found a dental practice that works with our insurance AND has a nice capable team

I have been a patient of Dr Sabet's for years now and i love visiting his office. The front desk staff, the technicians and the Doctor himself are all so kind and helpful people. They provide amazing care for you and treat you like a member of the family.

I needed a last minute appointment and they were able to see me that week! My appointment was easy and smooth with literally no pain, none from booking, none from dental work, or none afterwards. I walked out with a full smile, it was such a nice and easy experience, i am actually excited to go back!

Dr. Sabet and his entire team are angels. I walked in smiling and left smiling even harder ☺️. I highly recommend going here and trusting in Dr. Sabet, everything you could wish for from a Dentist and care provider!

I've been going to Santa Monica Dental for over 30 years now, and i couldn't be happier. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Dr Sabet and the entire staff for providing exceptional dental care. From the moment I walk in, I've always been greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The staff's professionalism and efficiency make the entire experience stress-free, and Dr. Sabet's gentle demeanor will put me at ease. Fine but I have felt "processed" at this location rather than fully human.

For example, I had to come back multiple times to get my mouth guard fitting me right because the original cast was not right, instead of, you know, coming back once and their wanting to really nail the fit.

Most recently, they gave me the latest time slot of the day for a cleaning, their schedule was running late of course, and then they were more concerned about going home then helping me and I didn't actually get my cleaning. So I decided to switch to another dentist that is less busy and will serve me better when I'm looking for a convenient time slot and when there in the office.

I don't understand why reviewers have to give everyone a "5" or a "1". Be realistic, people. This is a 4, a solid dentist with nothing awful, but I just felt I would get better attention and empathy elsewhere.

Jennifer is an able, friendly and experienced desk manager who keeps the place running. Love her. Knows everything. Always top-shelf. My cleaning by Natasha was painless and thorough. A few months ago I had a toothache but didn’t know exactly where the pain was coming from. Other dentists would have just drilled into a tooth. But THIS dentist said he could not find anything wrong visually or on the x ray. He thought I might have some sort of nasal infection. Turned out he was right! All good now thanks to some antibiotics. Thank you.

The only dentist I have ever liked. They are so supportive and easy to visit.
I always got yelled at for my gums being bad. Now that I am using an electric toothbrush, and occasionally flossing, my gums are apparently acceptable.
At least to this dentist.
He keeps it simple. Did t try to propose new work on my teeth. Just said “Looks good. Nothing needed. You are done”.
What a relief.
Staff is all friendly and relaxed.

The only good part was the easy check-in process, that also I hope they would transition to digital rather than still using papers in 2025!? The admin and x-ray staff were kind and welcoming, but I didn’t have good experience with my regular cleaning and dentist himself. The machines seem to be very much outdated. I’ll not be considering this facility for my future visits.
