Our family has been coming here for years. Even my three year old sees her two older brothers get their teeth cleaned and she jumps into the seat. Everyone is so gentle and kind. My oldest son had to do an extraction a few years ago and everything went well. We highly recommend Sorana and Emily.

I started going to Dr. Munteanu back in 1998!

An old crown had come off, and the tooth was cracked in many places because I had had a root canal done years ago by another dentist; I was in severe pain.
My brother-in-law said he had the best dentist and gave me the number for Dr.Munteanu. I called and explained my situation. She juggled her busy schedule and asked if I could come in immediately, so l did.
The prognosis was not good.
The tooth needed to be extracted. That was my fault for waiting so long to see a dentist.
At that point, I was in so much pain and just wanted it to end. Dr. Munteanu extracted the molar (in pieces, it was so bad), and the pain was immediately gone. Just from that alone, she had me as a patient for life!

At my subsequent appointments, she also performed other work, replacing my old silver fillings with more durable composites and filling the occasional cavity.
(Sorry, Dr., I will floss, I promise).
She worked hard at getting my mouth back to regular functioning order. What a relief.

She demonstrated such a level of professionalism and quality work and explained all of the options available for any procedure; I was sold.

I began bringing my son to Dr. Munteanu. He was eight years
old, and had a significant fear of dentists. After one visit in her chair, they laughed and talked like old friends. I had already brought Dr. Muneanu, the most important person in my life, my child, so when anyone ever asked, "Hey do you know a good dentist"? I gave them her card, and they are all still her patients to this day. I have referred many people to Dr. Munteanu, and everyone loves her as much as I do. She is honest, straightforward, caring, and a pleasure to see. Who says THAT about their dentist? I sure do.

Radu (her husband) took over the front office, IT, and everything but the actual dentistry. He’s a great guy, always has a joke handy, and is someone you can relate to; talking to him feels like talking to family, a brother, or a friend.

I never have any issue getting in on very short notice, and I never mind waiting if someone else needs her more than I do. It happens; I take it as if that were me, I would want her to do the same thing. She’s going to do the right thing every time.
Emergencies can happen to any of us.

I recently had a bridge work its way loose. I called Radu to see if he could squeeze me in, and he had me come right over. Dr. Munteanu determined the bridge was indeed loose and suggested chewing gum (sugarless, of course) to work it loose gradually. I did as instructed, and a week later, it popped right off. However, I discovered that most of the two molars came off with it. Once again, I called, and Radu got me right in. Thirty minutes later, the work began. Dr. Munteanu worked on my mouth for over 2 1/2 hours! I will not go into the details for those who may not find it as interesting as I did. It was serious work, and she knew what to do every step of the way. Dr. Munteanu's tenacity, working twice as hard to keep others on schedule while never giving up on my situation, was nothing short of amazing.

She is one of the most personable people I have met. She expects nothing short of perfection from herself. She called me every day after the procedure to see how I felt. Talk about bedside manner, wow.

She loves what she does and is so amazingly intuitive. She has hundreds of patients, yet without looking at your chart, she can remember all her work, often asking, “How’s the crown on number three doing?” Etc. How does she do that? Passion for what she does and her patients, that’s how.

Lastly, I moved an hour & 20 minutes away and could easily go to someone local, yet I chose to stay with Dr. Munteanu; when you find the best, why leave? An hour and twenty minutes may sound far, but she has had patients from NY and the UK who still return to her! That alone should give you an idea of just how good she is.
