Dr. Christine Lee has performed several teeth cleanings and fillings for me over the past two years. Her care and professionalism are excellent! The dentist and staff are kind and made me feel comfortable throughout my visits.

Be careful of this place, and double check their dental work recommendations. I cannot say for sure but I believe they over prescribed massively, even though they knew my insurance was not in a good place. Overall I’m inclined to believe their service recommendation was more than likely dishonest.

When I and my wife went here we were told we needed between 9-16 fillings each, and 4 root canals. Dentists we checked with before and after this Rivermark Dental location each told us we needed between 0 and 2 fillings and no root canals, each. One of the “cavities” rivermark dental recommended I had filled, I had double checked with another dentist and was told it was only a stain and no work needed.

Overall I cannot say for certain, but I sense I was taken advantage of at this location.

It was really bad experience.
I didn't feel respected at all. Dr Lee was quite arrogant when answering my questions. I even feel like she mocked me for not knowing what deep cleaning is.
Moreover, the doctor did probe test for me, and some of my teeth keep bleeding after that and there was much much pain not only during the probe test, but also last for almost two days. The doctor's technique was very rough and it felt like a nightmare for me. Today I went to see another doctor and did probe test, I don't even feel pain at all, and that's the main reason I decide to leave a google review here.
I'm glad that I didn't choose to do the deep clean and filling at Rivermark dental now.

Update after a year:
My daughter has now lost all the teeth naturally that were pointed out for extraction earlier by the dentist. She never faced any pain/swelling after our last dentist visit, even-though we opted out of extraction. Her gums were cleaned and pus removed and that was what was needed. (Extraction also risks getting infection from mouth into blood stream which opens up more risks/complication and hence we avoided it)

Got here to get basic cleaning… She recommends the more complex procedure and the problem is that she says she can only do that (no other option)…. If you stay firm only then she would do what you came for…

I did that for my kid… wanted to get the puss removed from her gums… but she says extraction is the only option…. Since it was my daughter, I stayed firm and told that extraction is a strict no… only removing puss and cleaning… then she did that …, last year she had same problem and got puss removed and everything is well since over a year… hence I knew and firmly said no…

Most problematic situation was when I was talked into having Anesthesia that I actually thought was usual topical anesthesia(that I usually have for deep-cleaning)… by the time I knew it was completely different than what I thought, the injection was already in my mouth…

My whole one side face was kind of paralyzed for 4hrs…(it should have been just 2hrs) Had a meeting at work and had to cancel it because of this mess…. My tongue is still not recovered after over 24hrs since….

Very bad experience…. If you ever go here… stick to your plan and ask her to just do what you want…. It’s all done just to bill you more….. but this was at the expense of making you sick for hours and days…

The ask for the Anesthesia/injection should come from patient… it should be by default a topical anesthesia…

In my daughter’s earlier procedure the tooth cavity was treated by removing most/all of the decayed material and along with removal of puss. It’s stable over 2 year to be more precise. Previous doctor also suggested the same as you did, but I was able to convince to remove the decay and fill cement when possible. I agree you followed standard protocol. (But, extraction is not the best solution, speaking from my practical experience with my daughter…)
I must appreciate that you didn’t suggest a root-canal for that problem… Because, I did even get such a suggestion earlier from a different dentist (as the only option)..

Regarding anesthesia, I lost taste in my mouth over a week now… slowly recovering… I didn’t expect such a reaction… Also, loosing facial movement for 4hrs was not expected… It may be a misunderstanding but should not have happened…

Not sure how this place has good reviews.
I trusted the reviews and went in for a checkup/cleaning which wasn’t the best but fine. However they told me I had cavities and that they needed filling and a crown for one of them.
I agreed and had the fillings done.
As soon as the numbness was gone I was able to feel how rough the surface of the fillings are and how they do not match my teeth shapes at all.
All of them done at this place are protruding out badly and causes pain+sensation that there is something stuck in between your teeth which is extremely annoying.
Overall my dental condition is in way worse condition than before I visited this place. Easily worst decision I made in my life. Now it’s costing me extra to have it redone by an actual dentist who knows how to do fillings properly.
Stay away unless you want to waste time and money+dental health.

I had a very disappointing experience at Rivermark Dental. Dr. Christina Lee was incredibly unprofessional during my visit for a routine cleaning. She insisted I needed multiple additional procedures, which felt excessive. After a filling, my teeth have been sensitive for over six months, which is quite concerning.

Moreover, they charge $25 just to send my own X-rays to me or a specialist, which feels unreasonable. Dr. Lee's arrogance and rudeness towards patients only add to the frustration. I would not recommend Rivermark Dental to anyone.
