My 3 kids love Dr Jeff Alcaide. He is very patient and calm. His treatment plans are conservative. What I love most is he never rushes the kids and will do treatment based on what is needed and whether the kids can handle it. If the kids are having a hard time, he is ok with a second visit. The kids always gets goodies and a balloon but most importantly, they have a good experience with a gentle dentist! He is also very responsive with text messages and will call to give advice over the phone.

The dental office is light and clean. He only deals with one family at a time so he can focus on the kids and get to know them (even pre-COVID).

Was referred to Dr.Alcaide by a friend. Had a horrible experience with the previous dentist who was ready to give General Anesthesia to a 6 year old and charge $5000. The best part of Dr.Alcaide is that he is very patient and his staff are super amazing. Took a couple of visits to fill my daughter’s cavities but I would definitely recommend this over general anesthesia. I love how everyone respects their patients. Our 3 children have been seeing Dr. Jeff for years, and he is great! His patient, thoughtful, calm demeanor has always made our children perfectly happy to visit the dentist, at all ages. The first thing the front lady asked me after she checked me in was “would you like something to drink?.” I’ve been to many doctor offices and none offered me a drink! That alone, left a high mark in me. I went there with my two small daughters, Dr, Jeff and his dental assistants were really patience with them and they were very gentle. Dr. Jeff explained everything before, during, and after every procedures to help me understand what was going on. I highly recommend him for anyone who is lookin for a good and caring pediatric dentist.

My son had been with Dr Alcaife for almost 2 years. He is very patient and very good with kids. He would get his job done quickly and nicely to minimize the level of anxiety on a kid. My son likes him. Now my younger daughter is also his patient.

Words can't truly express our disappointment. We went through 2 months of hell because of Jeff Alcaide. At our initial visit he convinced us he has experience in the procedure our son needed (to fill in his chipped tooth) and even said he performed it on his own daughter's front tooth, but then he kept asking us to go for visits only to send us back home without doing anything/actually working on the tooth. He didn't accept the second opinion/s we brought to him and completely ignored them. This is a "dentist" who thinks going to someone for a second opinion is wrong, I assume due to his own incompetence and lack of confidence in his capabilities. After a month and a half he said that if we went to endodontist and the endodontist said the tooth is fine, he will keep working on it/finish what he started the first day (he just closed it with a bit of material, instead of filling all of it to look like a normal tooth and be safe and well protected). So even though at this point we knew the tooth is perfectly fine, due to the second opinion/s, x-rays, our son's behavior etc., we went to the endodontist and paid for the visit only to please Alcaide, with the purpose of him finishing what he started. Of course the endodontist confirmed the tooth was happy and healthy, but to our huge surprise Alcaide first denied the endodontist's report/accused us of lying to him about the good news and then when we told him we have the actual report from the endodontist, he switched the subject, said there are no available appointments, and then eventually told us that he can't see our son and can't perform the procedure, so we should go somewhere else. After a month and a half he basically said he won't to what he promissed few times along the way. If he were to say at the first visit that he's not capable of performing this procedure, that would have saved us two months of worrying, going back and forth to him for nothing (while paying of course), taking our son out of school all the time for the visits without any result/s, but mainly the huge emotional trauma created by the way he treated us. He kept lying to us and switching subjects, never spoke directly and openly with us, always switching from one to another thing, contrary to any logic. I am convinced that this is a dentist who couldn't care less about his patients. I wish we never went to him! Eventually, we went to another dentist who fixed the tooth during the first visit. Thankfully, we had luck the second time around. I wouldn't recommend Jeff Alcaide to anyone, even to my worst enemy. I hope this review will be helpful and will prevent other parents and their kids from going through the same trauma.

My two girls go to see Dr Jeff regularly for dental exam and treatment for few years. He is very nice, and never recommends unnecessary treatments. He listens to parents and is very patient.

If you care about your kids and their health - stay away from Jeff Alcaide!!! We went to him fooled by the good reviews here. We thought smaller office would bring more personal treatment & care, but we were so wrong! Not only he cares only about the money and will do his best to charge you for everything possible and send you back and forth only to charge you more, and do all the unnecessary procedures, but in addition to that - he's extremely unprofessional and, honestly, just a horrible dentist! He has no idea what he's doing! And he's the bla bla type of person who will BS you around for hours instead of telling you straight that he doesn't know what to do/doesn't have experience! People like this should be reported and their license taken from them! This is not someone who wants to help our kids, but someone who would willingly kill all their teeth only to profit from it! We've never met a worse dentist in our lives! I would give him zero stars if I could! Such a horrible experience! Save your kids, stay away from him!
