I am in AWE of how amazing the service was here. The office is clean and lots of natural light. Front desk girls welcome you and make sure they answer all your questions. They have different payment plan options which is great for those that are uninsured. Dr. Chu and Katie fixed my cavities and let me know the entire process and reassured me throughout the entire process. One of the best dentist offices in OC!

Very happy with this dentistry. They are very reasonably priced and did a great job on my bridge, I got it done in Mexico first time to save money and they chipped. Then went here to get it done in the u.s. it was not as expensive as most places in us which helped. Not to mention they gave me an 800$ night guard free to thank me for being a loyal customer since they opened. I’ve never been to dentist that did this, actually have a horrible experience with dentist from getting veneers when I was a kid. Very happy with service and my teeth look very good.

Double check what your insurance covers. I know there are a lot of scam clinics out there that suck your money Pure Santa Ana Dentist one of them💁🏼‍♀️. For 2 root canals and 2 crowns I need to pay $2650 or a payment plan from a financial organization. I have a difficult life situation so I took Medi-Cal. At another clinic the doctor said that these 2 root canals and 2 crowns are ❗️FULLY COVERED MY Medi-Cal❗️. what can you say about this Pure Santa Ana Dentist? 😏 Now my teeth are treated by a doctor who told the truth. Be careful and check.

Akward/ bad first impression walking in first time here.. Very unprofessional. Felt a lot like entering a weed sales dispensary.

Front lobby has a TV with the volume turned up high, to compete with loud aggressive music at the front desk/ front office. The office is staffed by young twenty - somethings also talking and laughing loudly in front, who greet you with exaggerated insincere, almost sarcastic niceness, when you're there in pain or distress.

I was booked and checked in as a first time patient with emergency Medi-Cal coverage for a chipped front tooth accident. (Low income qualification.)

I'm called in to begin treatment. Soon as the dentist enters my room, she greets me with a sales pitch for invisilign!! Mind you at this point they'd never seen my teeth or spoken to me before yet; knowing Medi-Cal does not cover this "cosmetic" treatment, & i'm a Medi-Cal patient. (I know this because that was my first question in response, and I was answered with an immediate, "No.") First red flag.

Then after seeing there is no root/ nerve exposure. Overall my tooth is still healthy & intact, offers two options for "repairing" the tooth: An entire veneer over the tooth. (Unheard of!) Again, not covered by my insurance. Or root canals, plus full crown removals and replacement of both front crowns!! She said "Both, so they can match." Woah there. Huuuuuge red flags! -Again.

First of all I'd already done my research on proper chipped tooth repair, and if enough natural tooth enamel, no pain, no discoloration, no root exposure, no trauma to gums or surrounding teeth: bonding/filling the chip is the corrective procedure. There was a hairline surface fracture visible, as well as the missing lower portion of the tooth, not far from the nerve/root. As discussed with two other dentists, plus prior research; leaving the broken tooth un-repaired not only impairs biting for food, emotional distress, & most importantly prevents a new posed high risk of further breakage &/ or decay of the tooth. Also a sharp edge cutting my inner lip. Therefore, repair is essential as advised by oral Healthcare professionals. This is exactly what should have been reported to insurance, & would therefore make the appropriate resin/ filling treatment medical and not "cosmetic." I've read the criteria by Medi-Cal insurance & this would qualify for coverage.

Also, little do they know: I am actually a Certified Dental Lab Technician. I know first- hand that we should match crowns, veneers, bonding/filling, polish etc to the natural tooth, and not the other way around as this dentist falsely proclaimed in consultation.

Most importantly for both patient & dentist, strive to preserve & maintain the integrity of the original permanent natural teeth & oral health. It is widely known that root canals are an invasive procedure used to "kill"/remove an infected or exposed nerve. (Does not apply to my case whatsoever.) It is also high risk prone to serious infection, requiring antibiotics prescription.

Obviously I chose to go elsewhere for treatment. Thank god i had the opportunity to go to TJ Mexico, where I was charged only $80 US dollars for X-rays, thorough English consultation, and bonding with a perfect, strong functional match. Feels, great. Looks great. Easy in and out. Very clean. Very professional. Genuinely kind and caring service.

The dentist at Pure Dental, said her bonding on patients lasts only up to 3 months! Again, that is unheard of. Good work & careful care according to research + second opinions should last minimum 3 years, up to 10 years!

I did allow basic cleaning offered, as was due for one anyway. By the way they tried claiming "severe" Calculus requiring deep treatment, soon maybe surgery. LOL. I have zero gum irritation (redness/bleeding/ inflammation, pain..) I literally had a mirror plus large HD photos in full view, while showing me stages of diseased unhealthy gums. Mine match the healthy stage! Regular cleaning got the plaque right off. Ps incorrect birthday on their screen too.

Run, don't walk away!

Everyone in the office is very friendly. Dr.T is very kind and is very thorough and meticulous. She explains the risks and benefits of each treatment option and helps you makes the best decision. I love how much she cares about her
patient experience during their visits. I will continue to have Dr T as my dentist and will refer my family and friends to her.
