Dr. Thomas Varin took over the office of Dr. John Kirby who I had been a patient with for many years.
I was nervous about trying a new dentist especially since Covid began. I was welcomed with warmth, compassion, and an overall feeling of caring from Dr. Varin, and his staff. Dr. Varin explained to me he likes to help patients keep what they have. I really like that approach. I have since had two crowns and multiple cleanings. My daughter also goes to this dental office. We are very pleased with the services. Thank you Dr. Varin, Francisca, and both Linda’s! I definitely recommend this dental practice!

I began going to Dr. Varin a number of years ago based on his care for my father and the recommendations of a couple of colleagues. The initial visit was very thorough and the subsequent treatment has been stellar. The staff are professional and caring. I have never been so insulted by a receptionist before. I inquired about the charge and was basically told I was an uneducated client. Dr Varin is a great dentist but lost me as a client due to his rude receptionist. If you want to be insulted go see them.

Dr. Varin is great. He replaced all of the amalgam in my teeth using minimum Lidocaine because I cannot tolerate Lidocaine. The 2 hygienists are excellent. However, several times I have had issues with the front desk clerk. Most recently, I asked her to check my dental insurance before I was seen to make sure that the visit was covered. She said that Dental Dental covered it, except for the co-pay that I paid. Today, she called me to say that I owe another $100 for the exam because I have Dental HMO and that they only take PPO. She said that she doesn't have time to ask if it's PPO or HMO. In the past she has been hostile and condescending. Sometimes she is polite which makes me let down my guard only to be insulted by her. They insisted that I have the exam instead of just a cleaning as I had requested. Now, I cannot get the cleaning and have to find a new dentist.
