Dr. Javadi is the best surgeon I have met in SAN Francisco. He met and superseded all my expectations. He was kind, understanding and sensitive to my needs. His team was great! Thank you Ginger, Bonnie and Jade for all your support. I highly recommend him and his team for dental implants and treatment of gum disease.

I had a lot of issues with Dr. Javadi's practice.

First, Dr. Javadi recommended a much more intense and costly treatment plan than several other dentists I visited for the same issue. While other dentists asked me about my goals and discussed a variety of treatment options, Dr. Javadi was more prescriptive in his approach -- no discussion of my goals or of alternatives to his $30,000 plan. While an intensive path may be right for some people, given its invasiveness and tremendous cost, I think discussion of alternatives would have been appropriate. (I ultimately chose to pursue a less intensive path with another dentist.)

There were also some odd medical coding practices at this office. They used an unusual code for my visit, one that is typically not covered by dental insurance. When I asked the office administrator why this code had been chosen over a more standard examination code, he was unable to provide a clear answer. He said that the two codes basically meant the same thing, but despite them meaning the same, he refused to use the code that insurance generally covers. As a result, I was left with a several hundred dollar bill. The other dentists used the standard code, and I had received no bills.

These experiences left me feeling like this office was out to milk me for all they could, with little regard for my actual needs or well being.

One more thing: they made it so difficult to pay my bill. Their online bill payment portal was dysfunctional for months, and when I reached out to the office for support, they were unable to resolve the issue. It was really time consuming and frustrating to deal with this.

Dr. Hamed Javadi deserves a five star, for he exceeded my own expectations!

When I first entered his office, I was kindly greeted by all of the people who have worked there and they were so friendly and so kind to me. They were making sure that I was ready to get all of my 4 wisdom teeth off by asking me if I had taken my meds before coming over to Doctor Hamed Javadi's office. When I then sat down on the chair they started to put laughing gas on me, and honestly I didn't feel pain at all, in fact around the end of the operation I was sleeping! During the whole dental procedure, I was relaxed with no worries what so ever and they even motivated me throughout the whole dental procedure and made sure that I was comfortable during the operation. And the craziest part was that it only took them less than one hour, even though the 2 bottom wisdom teeth of mine were sideways.

To be honest, Doctor Hamed Javadi and all of his workers were so kind to me and so serious with their work, my teeth was taken care of professionally and they cleaned my gums up very nicely and answered every question that I asked them. They also gave me stuff to take home to take care of my gums and teeth like a bottle of prescribed mouthwash and instructions on how to take care of my mouth while under recovery. It has now been 2 months since my operation and I have been checked and my gums are recovering just fine! All in all, it was a quick, easy, and tremendous experience! I am going to start recommending everyone to Dr. Hamed Javadi. It was by far one of the best painless experiences I have ever had at a Dental office.
