The whole team there is simply the BEST! Our two young kids both have moderate autism and Dr. Aghi and her staff know just how use positivity, praise, an interest in them, and prizes to elicit their cooperation!

We tried going to a different dentist in the East Bay, who takes our insurance and who says they have a specialty in special needs kids, but the staff was only focused on completing their tasks and not on building rapport or encouraging consent. Neither of my kids were able to complete x rays there and my daughter didn't let them do any teeth cleaning. She sobbed so hard through the exam that it took her 30 minutes to become calm again. And my son felt bad after the visit from being criticized and acted out once home. They had no "tricks" to get cooperation. We decided that Dr. Aghi and her team are the ONLY place our kids should be, and willingly pay out of pocket in order to do so.

I very strongly recommend Dr. Aghi and every one of her hygienists to families with special needs kids!

I am a mom of 5 and have moved several times therefore we have seen several pediatric dentists and I am picky! I expect the staff and dentist to respect a child and be warm and friendly and really tailor the experience for the kid and to be conservative on the treatments they suggest. Dr. Aghi and her staff meets every one of these criteria! I cannot sing their praises enough. When we moved here several people suggested this dental practice and I can see why. We have been going here for six years now so this review is not after just one visit, this is after several visits and a few cavities being filled. It's not just me that loves the staff my kids do as well and have zero qualms about going to the dentist! Thank you Dr. Aghi and staff for creating such a great environment. (I rarely write reviews but after such great service again today, I just knew I needed too!)

Dr Aghi and her team have been absolutely fabulous with our nervous four year old and two year old since their first appointments as babies. They are fun and gentle and take so much time over each appointment, there’s never any stress for parents or kids - I look forward to taking the kids there because I know I’m in for a relaxing morning! They are very thorough and help he kids understand what’s going to happen at each stage of the appointment. Definitely the best pediatric dentist around!

During our vacation my 8 year old son chipped his tooth. The doctor saw us right away even though it was literally the very end of her day and she had a full schedule, she took an x-ray, smoothed my son’s tooth and gave us all the information that we needed for what to watch do for the remaining of the trip. I cannot recommend her enough… an incredibly empathetic doctor, quick to respond to an emergency and so generous with her time. I could give her more stars if I could!

Absolutely amazing! The staff could not be friendlier, the office could not be cleaner, and Dr A. Is extremely warm and knowledgeable, comforting to my children. I have two boys ages 2.5 and 4.5 and they LOVE the dentist! It’s a shame we only have to go every six months. Highly recommend this practice.
