I was sent here via a referral from 9 to 7 Dental in Panorama City. The experience here was nothing short of PHENOMENAL. From A-Z. Not to mention that the complex procedure I had was an absolute breeze for Dr Anderson and his assistant Pascual. Also special shout outs to Miranda and Flor in the front desk for being very welcoming and thorough from the very start. Hands over fire I absolutely 110% recommend. I have been going to Dr. Bassali for complex dental work for many years now and he has been a life saver every time. I have done many root canals with Dr. Bassali as well as gum treatments and more recently a very hard procedure that I only trusted him to do. All of my experiences with Dr. Bassali have been amazing, he truly cares for his patients, he takes time to explain everything and makes sure you understand what’s going to happen and of course, his expertise and many years of experience can give you the peace of mind knowing you have nothing to worry about. If you are looking for a specialist, Dr. Bassali is the one, do yourself a favor and don’t waste time and money going anywhere else. Dr. Bassali has caring staff that make you feel comfortable when you’re there, they understand you’re nervous and do their best to be of help, they follow up with you and do a care call to see how everything is going. I highly recommend Dr. Bassali and consider myself very fortunate to be his patient.

I paid for a root canal and never did they inform me that they weren’t going to provide the permanent tooth and left my daughter with a temporary for months. Terrible communication.

ROOT CANAL DREAD. Recently visited my outstanding dentist (Raffi Barsam DMD, FADIA) due to nerve pain in an upper back molar (#15). X-rays showed a side cavity growing into the pulp chamber and the nerves of the tooth. A root canal was needed if I was to save the tooth. Otherwise I was facing a more expensive implant. Due to the complexity of the procedure, Dr. Barsam referred me to Emad Bassali, DDS, who's practice is limited to Endodontics. I was apprehensive and anxious going into his offices on appointment day! Dr. Bassali used X-rays and CAT scans with 3-D imaging to analyze the tooth, then used charts and images to explain to me how he would repair and save my tooth. This highly experienced and kind professional patiently helped me understand the procedure which gave me confidence and removed any anxiety I had. We agreed and then he got started. It was a long procedure but he was calm, confident, communicative, and technically superb! He worked under a microscope the entire time and took multiple x-rays during the procedure to analyze each step. He was able to save my tooth and did an amazing job! His office and dental staff were terrific and they accepted my insurance. I take this opportunity to express my gratitude to Dr. Bassali for his excellent work and sincere kindness. I highly recommend his services should you have a need for endodontics.

I was referred to Dr.Bassali by my dentist when he realized he couldn't do much for me. I went to see Dr. Bassali in agonizing pain. Dr.Bassali worked on me for a good hour and a half. Unlike most dentists who leave the room and let an assistant finish up, he did all the work himself basically because what he does require an amazing amount of knowledge, expertise and skill of which he has a truckload!
He also has a caring and gentle touch and he keeps you informed throughout the entire procedure.
I am in the healthcare field myself and I found him to be amazing. I am very grateful for the wonderful work.

I went to see Dr. Bassali, today for the first time. OH MY GOSH, he is AWESOME, from the injection ( Did not feel a thing) to a very difficult Root Canal, while he was working on me, I almost fell asleep, during my Root Canal. If you ever need a Root Canal he is FOR SURE the person to go to!!!!!!!
