My daughter’s dental office called to inform us that we had won a draw and needed to come down to collect gift cards and take photos. After driving 25 minutes to the clinic, the staff seemed surprised to see us. There were no photos, and we overheard them saying, “Give them two $5 gift cards,” in an extremely dismissive manner. It felt disrespectful and showed no regard for our time or effort. This experience was disappointing and unprofessional. We decided not to return to this clinic, told them to donate the gift cards to charity, and left.

First appointment here for our 6 year old and we loved it! She gets very anxious and tearful at the dentist. The staff were so patient and great with her. I also got a phone call afterwards from the dentist following up with how she was doing which i really appreciated. Definitely recommend taking your children here!

What a blatant disrespect for people’s time!

My wife received a call from this dental office, saying she’d won a prize in their end-of-December 2024 drawing. They talked about taking pictures and presenting the prize, so we expected something worthwhile.

We drove 15 miles—spending 25 minutes to get there—only to find out the “prize” was a $10 gift card. Seriously? In 2025, $10 won’t even cover two cups of coffee!

If you’re going to run a promotion, at least be honest about how trivial the gift is. This was a waste of our time and energy. We told them to keep the gift card and donate it to charity.

A dental office handing out $10 as a prize in 2025 is beyond cheap. Show some respect for your clients and their time!

This was my oldest daughters first appointment in a few years and my youngest daughters very first appointment. Upon arrival we were greeted at the front desk by Sandy with a welcoming smile and charming personality. When they brought my girls back both techs were so amazing with my girls. My girls felt comfortable even though they had strangers looking all around their mouths. Dr Nicki was super nice and also very great with my girls. It ended up being that my oldest daughter needed to have some other work done. Sandy walked me through every step of the process and took care of everything. A few things came up along the road on the other end and Sandy went above and beyond to do everything that she could to help me. She went out of her way to check in on me regularly to see if there was anything else that she could do to help me through this annoying process of back and forth with approval and denial. She took interest in the mail I was receiving on the other end so that she could further her knowledge to be able to help other people in the future in case this scenario happened to another family. My overall experience was outstanding but Sandy is definitely a gem when it comes to this office. Thank you so much Sandy for all of your help!

Dr. Lin and all of the staff at Escondido’s Children have been truly amazing at caring for our children. My son has major anxiety and after a few horrible experiences with other dentists, I was reluctant— but we only heard good things about Dr. Lin. She has such a calm, friendly demeanor. My son was so at ease while receiving his treatments. I am beyond happy she was recommended to us! Thank you all at Escondido’s Children Dental!!!

We really love our pediatric dentist. It's our first time around in the pediatric dental world and I feel like we really lucked out. Not only are they really sweet and good with my sons. They have been incredibly gracious with us while dealing with our insurance issue. Highly recommend!

I brought my two and four year old daughters in for their first dentist visit. I was a little nervous having both of them at the same time but it went so smoothly!

1. The waiting room was playing Bluey, which kept them entertained. They took us in at our scheduled time, which was great not having to wait.
2. They took both girls at the same time, which had me worried at first, but the rooms were divided by a half wall so I could see and talk to them both. It was really a perfect set up.
3. Both technicians were amazing with them. They would explain what they were doing and the tools they used without overdoing it, were direct but also gave great positive reinforcement, and were just overall sweet and fun. You could tell they obviously knew how to work with kids.
4. Dr. Nikki was also great in the same way. They were very thorough, yet incredibly efficient, which I greatly appreciated. The woman at the front desk was just as nice and efficient.

All said and done, we were out of there in 45 minutes and my girls were literally saying "That was fun, I want to go again!"
