Dr. Ng and his staff are exceptional! I’m writing this review after having been with this office for years and seeing my oral health vastly improve during that time, thanks to their attention to detail and consistent, careful work. I’ve since moved out of state and will miss it very much. I have been browsing dentists in my new area (which can be daunting) and I just had to come back and give them props because this truly is a caring and profesional practice.

My appointment was canceled twice with NO notice. When I tried to reschedule they told me I had to wait 6 months for my biannual cleaning -making it more than a year for my 6 month cleaning. appointment. I reminded them that THEY canceled my appointment, not the other way around, but they would not budge on the date. It was going to be over a year to get my BI annual cleaning. I am not at all impressed with the new dentists that have taken over since the retirement of the previous dentists. They also kept telling me I needed to update my fillings. I felt like it was a money making thing more than a necessity.

This dental office is AMAZING! Office staff is professional, personal, and welcoming (waiting room has a massage chair!). Hygienists are thorough and gentle, and super pleasant to just hang out with 🙂 Dr. Ng and Dr. Yoon are THE BEST!! They are well versed in the latest technologies and treatments, and are conservative in their recommendations and treatment plans. My kids even love going here! This office has treated us immediately with tooth injuries, and it's easy and convenient to get appointments. Dr. Yoon is new to the office and has already made it even BETTER! I won't go anywhere else.

I desire to express my big gratitude to dr. Liz Yoon for yesterday's work on one of my molars, that was cracked open for a while and was causing me huge pain for a while.

The whole intervention needed 4 deep anesthesias, taking off a part of my gum with a laser procedure, drilling deep to the root canal under the normal gum level and closing it up with white composite filling. The best thing is that I haven't felt any pain, not even when the long needle anesthesia injections were given! It has been 24 hours since the procedure and I do not feel any pain and I do not need to take any painkillers! How amazing is that?!?

The whole condition and procedure was explained to me in advance and I was treated with highest level of care, kindness and professionalism I have ever experienced before. All of the staff was very kind, the nurse, the doctor and even the front desk lady and they made everything workout.

I highly recommend this doctor to kids and to all of those of any age who have any resistance visiting dentists in general. You will feel acknowledged, treated with respect and kindness and with high level of professionalism.

Also I would like to add that as an international student (and a foreign visitor before that status) I was rudely dismissed from many front desk administrators in 6 other SLO dentistry offices, simply because they did not want to deal with my European insurance, that by the way, had great coverage for dental portion of it. THIS OFFICE IS THE FIRST OFFICE that is open to research and willing to meet my needs through my insurance plan. For sure I return!

My visit to Dr. Ng's office far exceeded my expectations. I went in with high hopes after reading his reviews on yelp, never the less I was apprehensive as I've never had pleasant experiences at the dentist. I have to admit the professionalism of his staff was outstanding. The front desk staff was knowledgeable and courteous. The tech's that assisted Dr. Ng were also extremely efficient and caring. As I flew in from Oregon on a recommendation I wanted to make my visit worth it. I had Dr. Ng perform 3 fillings and an extraction. He not only completed all of the procedures quickly but he also repaired a previous filling that a prior dentist had completed poorly. He has earned a customer for life and I couldn't be happier knowing that I've finally found a dentist I can trust and depend on! Thank you!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Ng since he moved to the area. I have been disappointed by so many dentist on the Central Coast, I lost count. It was either a nice Dr and horrible staff or the other way around. I NEVER thought I would find an office with a great dentist and friendly staff, but I have.
