Dr Jurash is fantastic! If you are having any jaw issues, don’t hesitate to see her. She takes her time and really evaluates where your pain is, what specific symptoms you are having, etc. She then does her exam to further pinpoint what is going on, and then does some gentle stretching (in my case), or other treatment. She carefully explains what she is doing every step of the way, and what you will feel, always giving you instructions on how to guide her, if you experience any discomfort. Don’t hesitate to set up your appointment!

Dr. Jurash is very well informed. She provided me with excellent care and multiple solutions to help with my pain. This gal really knows her stuff. I've been to many doctors over the years looking for help. She is the best I've ever found.

Dr. Jerash was very informative and thorough during my consultation appointment. She broke down how the TMJ works, explaining with diagrams and videos how slippage of the disk in that joint causes the discomfort and clicking that I currently feel while also pointing out the problems with my current mouthguard (that I learned is actually a retainer). She reassured me that this mouthguard along with other treatments suggested by previous dentists (like receiving Invisalign) were unnecessary and provided helpful exercises and advice on how to control this discomfort.

I cannot recommend Dr. Jurash enough. I first met with her to discuss TMJ and nighttime clenching related pain, and I really liked that her approach was very measured and evidence-driven compared to so many TMJ dentists I had worked with before who were eager to recommend bite-changing appliances, palate expanders, or surgery, not taking into consideration what was best for me as a patient overall.

As I have been navigating new oral pain issues, I have been really grateful how thorough, knowledgeable, and compassionate she is during our appointments. She is an excellent listener and communicator, too-- I really feel "heard" when I am describing my pain. Her attitude of helping and problem solving is also very emotionally uplifting.

Best care you could ever receive. Dr. Jurash diagnosed me and has me on a path to recovery for a chronic and debilitating issue that has plagued me for years, that no other doctor could fully help with. Dr. Jurash is world-class in her expertise, approach, bedside manner, diligence and comprehensive of care, and communication. And she’s a pleasure to work with. I feel like I’ve never been in better hands.

I am 46 and I have been on a long journey trying to figure out why I have pain in my mouth after a root canal I had over 6 months ago. I ended up having a second root canal on the same tooth and the pain was still there. I'm so glad I met Dr. Jurash, I only wish I had met her sooner. I didn't even know orofacial pain specialists existed. In our first meeting she checked everything: my neck, facial muscles, my bite, did freezing tests in my mouth. Dr. Jurash is very competent and has such a wonderful disposition. She made me feel she's part of my journey and invested in finding a solution and reducing my pain. She spent a long time with me and I felt all my questions were answered. When I was in the waiting room with my Mom, I saw her talking to another patient and I said, "this is going to be a good appointment." She is so kind and you feel heard and understood when you're around her. We have a plan and I'm working on getting better. Thank you Dr. Jurash for everything!

I was experiencing ongoing headaches and jaw pain. I saw my usual dentist several times to get pain relief and made no progress. I decided to see Dr. Jurash. She did a thorough exam, quickly identified why I was having this pain, treated me and I am finally feeling great! During the entire process, Dr. Jurash was gentle, empathetic, kept me informed, took the time to answer all my questions and made me feel like my problem was important to her! Too many doctors rush through my appointments. I am happy I saw Dr. Jurash - I wish I had seen her sooner!
