Clean office with advanced technology! Easy to book and staff members are patient and nice. I had serious pain and came to the office for two appointments, the doctor did a root canal for me and the process is efficient and professional. Solved my problem right away and my recovery went well.

I cannot recommend Dental 360 enough! I recently visited because of a toothache, and within a month, Dr. Tang and the team had me feeling like new with two beautifully crafted crowns. The entire experience was nothing short of amazing.

What truly impressed me was the crown fabrication process. They used a machine that looks like a 3D printer, which chiseled away at a white cube with incredible speed and precision. Watching my custom crown take shape right before my eyes was fascinating! Even better, I walked out with a perfectly fitted crown installed—all in a single session. No temporary crowns, no waiting weeks for a lab—just efficiency and innovation at its finest.

The procedure not only went smoothly, but it also cured my pain immediately. Dr. Tang and the entire team were so attentive, explaining every step of the process and ensuring I was comfortable throughout. The results are fantastic—my new crowns feel and look amazing.

If you're looking for a dental office that combines state-of-the-art technology with top-tier care, look no further. I’ll be recommending Dental 360 to all my friends and family. Thank you, Dr. Tang and Dental 360, for turning a painful problem into such a smooth and successful experience!

This review is for Dr. Julia Ho specifically. I came to 360 Dental because of the great reviews on Yelp and because it was much closer to my home than my original dentist I had been going to for the last 10 years. This review is a word of caution to other members who are new and trying to establish care here.

I haven't had problems with my teeth for many years and I've had regular maintenance dental cleanings and X-rays pretty much twice a year for the last decade. The first time I came here for a dental cleaning I was assigned Dr. Julia Ho randomly based on the time that I was available. I was told after my cleaning by Dr. Ho that I needed to have 2 crowns and 2 fillings done, all on separate teeth. She was pushing that I get the work done as soon as possible, and the front desk was suggesting that I get the work done quickly before the end of the year so I could split the work to be done in 2024 and 2025 so my insurance would cover both and I wouldn't have to pay as much out of pocket. I found it concerning that I suddenly had so many issues come up, as I've had no problems with my teeth and my prior dentist and hygienist who I've been going to for years never mentioned that I needed to get any work done. Dr. Ho showed me photos she took of my teeth during her exam, and apparently showed me there was a stress fracture on the two teeth that needed to get crowns, and that my metal fillings were starting to show signs of leakage. She also showed me dark spots on 2 of my teeth and said it was decay and needed to be filled. Now I'm not a dentist and I don't know exactly what I'm looking at, whether there truly is leakage or decay, but I did find it weird that I suddenly had 4 problematic teeth needing to get expensive work done when I had just been to a dentist a few months ago. So I took the X-rays they took during my cleaning and brought them to 3 different dentists that I know personally and asked them for a second opinion. All 3 of them said my teeth looked fine, and the x-rays I showed them showed no issues. They said if there were cavities, they would show up as shadows on the X-rays. And the stress fracture that Dr. Ho pointed out to me was simply developmental grooves in my teeth. I would like to give the benefit Dr. Ho the benefit of the doubt that she was just inexperienced in her assessment, but I can't help but wonder if she was trying to get me to get work done on my teeth for financial incentives.

The visit was unsettling. Being in healthcare myself, I usually trust that health professionals are honest and have integrity, and wouldn't try to lie to increase their financial incentives and bottom line. But the truth, as admitted to me by my own dentist friends, is that there are dentists who try to have you do unnecessary work just because they have everything to gain by doing work on your teeth. It is literally their business.

Yes, the office is modern, clean, and located in a super convenient location. The staff are friendly and nice. And the dental cleaning was also fine, nothing special but not bad either. It's probably fine if you just want a regular dental cleaning here, but if you're coming from another dentist and want to establish new care here, just a word of caution if they start telling you that you need to get a bunch of work done. You can't undo work on your teeth, and I'd prefer to make sure the diagnosis is correct before I do anything permanent. The work Dr Ho suggested would have costed me over a grand out of pocket, even with my excellent dental insurance coverage with a high annual maximum. I can't speak for the other dentists who work in the office and how they practice since I only saw one, but Dr. Ho represents the practice just as much as the owner Dr. Tang who hired her. My whole experience, in addition to me getting several second opinions from other dentists who said I didn't have any issues, has basically sealed the deal for me to never come back to this office.

Very poor administration, just as others had noted. Had a cleaning in May with a recommendation for a deep clean that was pending insurance approval. After over 6 months and multiple reschedules, they kept telling me they are waiting for insurance to respond for that cleaning. This seemed suspicious to me as this kind of activity is normally not this slow. They told me that I should call insurance to figure it out.

I called insurance and was told that they were waiting on the dentist to send over records back in May only days after the initial request! Obviously someone at Dental 360 dropped the ball, didn't follow up, then asked me to go do their homework.

Having frustratedly explained this to the front desk staff, their insurance specialist was unavailable to go over what happened. Waiting for a callback, I asked explicitly for an explanation and a formal apology indicating that I may be looking for a new dentist due to this lapse. When the insurance specialist finally did call back hours later, she again was asking me about why I had called. CLUELESS!

Because of this I have canceled ALL of my family's appointments. I will be looking for a new family dentist. Regrettable that a decent practice is ruined by basic administrative oversight.

I’ve been go to Dr. Tang’s office for few years in Daly City and finally they opened up a new location in San Mateo in Hillsdale Mall, location is perfect because its so much closer to my home. They have a very friendly environment with unique decor which set them aside from the traditional dental office. All front desk staffs are very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Tang is so nice, funny, patient and understanding. He always does a great job cleaning, fix my cavities without any pain and my other dental works. He never being pushy and up sell anything thats not needed, which he made the whole processing is a breeze.

Very clean and nice facility. The only concerns I got is I also get a crown request from dr Ho. I read the reviews before and got a second opinion, the other dentist suggested it is not needed.

Best Dentist experience I’ve ever had! They are good with appointments and reminders. The office is clean with high tec & TVs on the ceilings! (Which helps a lot more than you think!) Everyone is nice and helpful. They explain everything thoroughly. They have never suggested anything that was unnecessary. Most importantly, they can give you the cost of what you will be coming in for (with your insurance) if you ask! I feel very comfortable coming here.

It took me a while to find a dentist here at San Mateo, CA because I'm very sensitive to pain and after searching for more than 6 months, I finally found Dr. Soe who provided me a painless dental cleaning yesterday. He thoroughly explained the dental procedure and future appointment as well why I needed deep cleaning, etc. He is knowledgeable, kind, very accommodating and they have high-tech dental apparatus which is certainly a plus. Highly recommended!
