From my time at San Marino High all the way through graduate school (10+ years), I've had the pleasure of being a patient at Dr. Chen's office where I received fantastic care. I went for annual exams, quarterly dental cleanings, retainers, night guards, teeth whitenings, fillings, and some cosmetic work. I feel like I was well taken care of. Unfortunately, I had to stop going recently because I moved to the Westside and the travel became too great but I highly recommend to anyone looking for a new provider!

I would give Dr Jennifer Chen a negative rating if I could.
I have many friends and family members that used to see Dr Chen and they all have similar stories.
Don't believe any recommendations that the staff or Dr's tell you. The office practice is to Hard sell. Doctors and staff receive kick backs for selling procedures you don't need. Then they conveniently forget to tell you your insurance won't cover it. They'll tell you that you need a deep cleaning when you really don't. The next year they state that insurance won't cover a regular cleaning once you've had a deep cleaning. After the hygienist is done then the Dr walks in to look in your mouth so they can charge an extra fee for DR Visit. It is the biggest scam I've ever experienced in the medical field. I will be reporting them to the Dental Board of California.

I've been a long time patient here from Dr. Hodge's days. Dr. Hodge was the best dentist ever - had such gentle skill and a pleasant and kind demeanor. I loved Dr. Hodge -- it seems like he has found a worthy successor with Dr. Chen.

The staff here are wonderful and friendly. I generally hate going to the dentist, but this office does make it pleasant. While you're in the chair, they have headphones with music, or just bring your own. They also give you shades to put over your eyes to reduce the bright lights.

Free parking in the back and tea/coffee in the waiting room.

Love the staff and doctor. She does not force you to have anything done. she simply tells you your problem and you decide. I love that! he best care I've had in a while and I have been to several offices.
