I had my first visit to Rancho Bernardo Dental Arts today. My experience was fantastic. The front office staff was very inviting. It was a very friendly atmosphere. Dr. Ghandehari took the time to talk to me and explain all of the aspects of the visit to me, he even educated me on things that I have never heard from previous dentists. His assistants we very friendly and helpful. I also had my teeth cleaned by Linda, she did a great job on my cleaning. This is best experience I have had in a dental office in a long time.

My next door neighbors referred me to Dr. K and I cannot thank them enough. I am very happy to have found an excellent dentist in the Rancho Bernardo area. Everyone, including the front desk, is professional and personable.

My first encounter was when I had a dental emergency immediately after I moved back to the area. That is when my neighbors referred me to Dr. K. When I called the office and they learned of the emergency, they fit me into their schedule at the last minute. They did a fantastic job and I could not be more pleased. No more pain and my teeth look great. The pricing is reasonable and I ended up enrolling in the discount plan.

I am a happy patient and Janet is now my go-to teeth cleaner. The location has plenty of parking. Personally, I love being able to walk to my appointments.

Even though, initially I was not happy with my treatment because of the costs, Dr. G made sure that I received the treatments that I needed. He personally cared about my dental health and the work was done professionally.
Dr. Crow did my surgical tooth extraction, and he did a good job. If one thing could be improved would be communications with the patient. I personally would like to know every step that is done on my tooth.
The office is very clean and staff are friendly.

When I think of going to the dentist I cringe! But I have found the BEST dentist and most caring staff that I have ever had! The beautifully appointed reception area, state of the art comfortable dentist chairs, are just two of my favorite things about Bernardo Dental Art. However, going to the dentist is for one thing...preserving your teeth. Dr. Ghandehari has worked with me, my budget and has done an outstanding job on my
teeth and I feel so great full to his skills. He is a true clinician and a perfectionist.

Dr. Velk has been my dentist since I was a kid (24 now). All of my siblings have gone to him for their teeth cleaning as well. I may be biased as I've never tried another dentist before, but there has really never been a need to. I've heard stories about people who grow up dreading the dentist and having the hardest time finding one they like. That has never been the case with me, nor with my siblings. I have always enjoyed going to the dentist. I actually find it pretty relaxing. I don't know if I'm just weird like that, or because of they do such a fine job on your teeth! My money's on the latter.

One of my siblings has since moved from the San Diego area and had a very hard time finding an adequate dentist comparable to Dr. Velk. I plan on moving soon myself, though it's still within distance that I can come back and get my teeth taken care of with people I trust. Also Amy is one of the nicest most amazing people on the planet! She makes it easy to book an appointment, re-schedule and send out the appropriate reminder if needed.

Dr. Ghandehari is an awesome dentist who cares about his patients! On our first visit he asked us questions about our dental history in order to capture a more "complete" understanding and to provide the best care. He didn't just rely on X-rays! He did a thorough exam, and an oral cancer screening was included! In 40+ year of going to other dentists, I've never received an oral cancer screening as part of my regular check up.
We really appreciate his approach and have been totally confident with his treatment plan and his ability to communicate that plan clearly. And he was great interacting with our 5 children, ages 7-15.

Previously, our 7 year old son had a large, multi surface cavity filled by a different local dentist (the filling was about 50% the size of his tooth). It had fallen out after only 4 months! Dr. G had to replace this cavity, (by now the size of a partial crown!) which took some major patience and time. He talked our nervous son right into wearing the cool "glasses", put a cartoon of his choice on, and explained what was going to happen in a very cool, almost star wars, science kind of spirit. He had to give our son some numbing medication after initially setting out to complete the work, and again, he explained the needle and what was going to happen in a very kid friendly, cool manner, and voila! Our son was totally into it, and the dental care was a success. Our son talked fondly about Dr. G and the treasure box for days.

The Hygienists we had, April and Grace were top notch: providing a thorough and gentle cleaning and explaining and educating our kids on good oral hygiene habits.

The staff are EXCELLENT! Jenny, Amy and Angie are friendly, personable, professional and competent (rare these days in so many service businesses). Such a nice experience for us. We had a lot of billing to take care of with such a large family and I only had to ask ONCE for an itemized receipt for each visit. Those gals remembered every time (which was a lot!)

We've been to over a half dozen dentists in the past 15 years and we finally have a family dentist in Dr. Ghandehari who we feel at home with. RB Dental Arts has state of the art, modern diagnostic equipment and tools. Dr. G is conservative in his approach to treatment, always taking into account that we don't have dental insurance. With a large family, this is of the utmost importance to us. Having a dentist we can trust, who is more than competent in his discipline, conservative and careful in his treatment, well, he and his staff are all gems! I would strongly recommend Dr. G and RB Dental Arts!

Going to the Dentist has never been something I enjoy. However in the past I've always dread going; but I can now say that I do not dread going anymore. The team at RB Dental Arts always makes me feel very comfortable from the moment I walk in the door. They always know who I am and treat me with such good care.
