Dr. Lum is amazing. Full restoration of my mouth - replaced all teeth with crowns. I now have a movie star smile. After the first year, a front tooth crown came off. Dr Lum and his staff did acts of heroism to get the crown replaced with a temporary in 1 day and replaced the temporary with a permanent one on the next day. I’m super grateful to have found such a skilled, professional, and calm prosthodontist. Highly recommend. Especially if you have teeth that need a total makeover.

I see all great reviews, but I can’t seem to get anyone to answer the phone or return a message to make an appointment. Are they not open during the week?

I have been trying to find someone to make poor 88 year old “grandma” a denture so she can eat. Her lower partial has been broken for weeks now. My regular dentist doesn’t do dentures.

***editing review as the dentist, himself, kindly corresponded via email, on a weekend to address my concerns hours after my review was posted. Apparently they are only open Monday-Thursday 7:30-3:30.

*** I finally got through to a person on Monday morning. But they don’t have an appointment for a month for an emergency- yet only work 4 days a week. Why not work an actual full work week and accommodate patients that need care?! What happened to working a full tine job as a dentist? I feel like I have to fly out of state to get decent healthcare. I suppose this is how the divide between the rich and poor deepens.

A deeply disappointing experience I can’t recommend.

Dr Grillo and his staff give everything to make your appointment smooth and comfortable. Dr Grillo’s work is meticulous (as noted by another specialist I see). Shout-out to his RDA Janice who just gets it, and front office Jasmyn who is a light when you have to call to make dreaded appointments and/or walk into the office. This is a remarkable team of healthcare professionals I cannot recommend them enough.

Dr. Lum and staff are the best!! I have been going to him for several years now. He has replaced all my old silver fillings and also done a couple crowns. He is calm and caring and a master at what he does. His assistant Kenzie is also very kind and caring and they make an excellent team. Liz who does the billing and scheduling is also great! I highly recommend them and thankful I found them.

When your friends say, "Dr. XXX is my dentist and he's amazing!", ask them how many root canals they have in their mouth. Ask them if they have any implants. A dentist is only as good as the problems he or she solves…and how long those solutions last.

Dr. Grillo is the reason I don't wear dentures. I'm 76 years old. I have a mouth full of crowns, two implants, five root canals, and several fillings. The state of my mouth is the consequence of a perfect storm of three conditions: Negligence, genetics, and (prior to Dr. Grillo) poor dentistry.

Dr. Grillo's been my dentist since 1991. Fortunately, I found him about the time I decided to get serious about saving my teeth. That involved reversing gum disease and establishing a rigorous home hygiene program. But equally critical was repairing past treatment disasters and addressing ongoing restorative issues. In my experience, Dr. Grillo and his staff have done that flawlessly.

After 30+ years, these are some of Dr. Grillo's qualities that I appreciate: A perfect mix of warmth and professionalism; excellent, non-technical communication skills, i.e., when explaining what's happening in your mouth and your options; tireless attention to details in all facets of treatment.

I've never had the feeling Dr. Grillo recommended or performed a treatment that wasn't necessary. I believe he's always considering the big picture and the long game as it pertains to my oral health.

Five stars. Wonderful dentist, efficient and friendly staff, state-of-the-art technology.

If I must have an ongoing relationship with a dentist, Dr. Grillo is a blessing!
