Dr. Peterson’s skills are exemplary and he succeeds where other periodontists’ treatments I had in the past failed. Update on November 12, 2024: After two months and a total of five visits to Peterson Periodontics in San Diego, my treatment is now complete. The gum graft has been successful, thanks to Dr. Peterson’s unparalleled technique and care.

The whole process, while not pleasant, was relatively painless and free from complications such as infections. The actual intervention two months ago lasted approximately two hours. I was able to drive safely home to Los Angeles afterwards. The aftercare was exemplary too.

Today my sutures were removed—again almost painlessly. I hope that this treatment has now arrested my gum recession for years to come. I will “baby those gums,” as Dr. Peterson advised.

The whole office functions as a well-oiled machine, in a good way. As a patient I felt I was in good hands. Great vibes in the entire office. Thank you, Dr. Peterson!
