Dr. Jason Kung did an excellent job treating my six-year-old son’s molar. My son had a cavity, and several other dentists recommended a costly root canal for the baby tooth, which seemed unnecessary to me. However, Dr. Kung assessed the situation and confidently fixed the issue without resorting to such an invasive procedure. His skill and expertise were clearly evident, but what truly stands out to me is his integrity as a medical professional—he didn’t push for unnecessary treatments just to drive up costs. I was also impressed by his credentials, including his education at UCLA. I drove over three hours from outside the Bay Area to see him. It’s definitely worth it. I highly recommend Dr. Kung for anyone seeking trustworthy, skilled dental care.

They are very good with post work support for patients. Provided us with all documents to claim insurance , including letterheads and authoritative signatures.

I highly recommend this business. Professionalism, cleanliness and thorough. Dr. Jason K and Dental Assistant Michelle, were a holiday blessing. I was in need of an emergency root canal with unbearable pain, 3 days before Christmas and all dentists and specialists I called were closed for the holiday. I researched and came across SVEM, which was open on a Sunday. I called Sunday morning and had a consultation with Dr. Jason, who scheduled for me to come in later that day. I was handled with so much compassion, patience and care from start to finish. All my questions were answered as well. I was so thankful Dr. Jason and Michelle for a painless root canal procedure but also positive and calm atmosphere. With relaxing music and Dr. Jason and Michelle checking on me throughout the procedure. Michelle was very sweet even comforted me and rubbed my shoulder, which was a big help to close my eyes and relax. The following day, they followed up with me and asked if there was any pain and to call if I have any questions. Thank you again Michelle and Dr. Jason K for a Christmas miracle.

I don’t think having a root canal done is considered a wonderful experience but I have to say I did have a great Experience with Dr. Kung and his team. I had a temp bridge in and was supposed to have a root canal done but put it off. While on a trip recently I ate something and the bridge came out. When I got home I called a dental office in a panic and they referred me to Dr Kung, I had just moved back to San Jose from Tracy and didn’t have a Dentist here yet. Dr Kung was able to see me for a consultation. He eased my nerves and we went ahead and made an appt. To come back for the root canal. It’s the first time I had a root canal so I didn’t know what to expect. I went to my appt, they got me in, it took about 2 hours and I was right back to work. Other then my jaw hurting from the way it was positioned for the procedure I felt fine. The novocaine wore off and I had some slight discomfort for a day or two. I know I am going to need a few more things done in the future and I’m glad I found a dentist I feel good about.

I was so nervous when I knew there had been no ways but a surgery. Dr was very gentle and explained details that made me decide having the surgery. Everything went smoothly and I soon got well. He is really skilled and reliable..

This office is very responsive. I am able to make appointments very smoothly and they also follow up to ask how is my tooth going after the treatment.

Dr.Kung is very knowledgable and patient. My teeth had some cracks causing pain when biting on food and my general dentist was not sure if it requires canal treatment and recommends me to Dr.Kung. Dr. Kung explained two possible options: crown or canal treatment, but offered a simpler solution: smooth out the surface of the two teeth so they don't take too much pressure when biting on food. it worked great. after the fix, I no longer feel the pain when biting on food. He also offered some suggestion to keep the cracks from growing.
