This dentist was my worst nightmare. Not only did he not know what he was doing and was very confused; when I left his office I was in a tremendous amount of pain. He drilled a hole through my crown straight into the root and tried to fill the hole with a substance that lasted about 1 hour before falling out. He has no business practicing. I am 67 and have had the best dental care until now.

I am always afraid of going to the dentist. However, my first appointment with Dr. Shapiro was in January 2023, and it went great! I experienced no pain or stress during the procedure, and the team was super friendly and caring, especially for big babies like me. So I stayed.
Even though I don't have insurance, I found their prices very reasonable. Another great thing about this dental clinic is that it always has appointments in the short term, unlike other places that require a 3 to 6-month waiting period.

I have been a 75 year old patient of Dr. Shapiro for about 20 months. Initial consultation developed a treatment plan for identified problems. Three crowns and several cleanings later, my mouth is in "better shape than most". His chair side manner is very professional and his assistants are also. I have enjoyed each visit to the office and would recommend Dr. Shapiro for your dental needs.

I highly recommend Pacific Dental Excellence! Dr. Shapiro is an expert with his skill and talent in his art and genuinely knows his stuff when it comes to teeth. Upon meeting, I could tell he was a seasoned veteran. I’ve been in and out of dental offices for the past two and a half years to fix eight different teeth where the fillings/inlays/crowns continually fall out without a moment’s notice. I’ve had sensitivity to my teeth over this entire period, and Dr. Shapiro was able to recognize problems with my mouth and jaw during my first visit that all my other dentist who have done extensive dental work have not noticed. He explained every step of the process so I was completely aware of what he was going to do before he did it. Also, his staff who assisted (Evan & Heidi) were extremely helpful and moved the payment process along painlessly. They were accommodating with my schedule since I do not live in the area at the moment and make sure to get me in at a day and time that works for both parties. Both Dr. Shapiro and his assistant, Vanessa, were very charismatic and empathetic to my situation and did their absolute best to make me feel as comfortable and taken care of as possible. I give my highest of praises for the entire experience!

Dr. Shapiro has been working on my implants for the last eight months and for those of you who have had implants will know that you see the dentist quite a bit. I have gotten to know Dr. Shapiro and everybody who works there and I can tell you they have made this it into a wonderful and relaxing experience. I am so grateful for Dr. Shapiro and his staff! They have taken great care of my teeth. I appreciate the kind and thoughtful manner in which they have walked me through a crazy year of dental work. They also have the most updated holistic tools for a more natural approach, like using ozone for killing bacteria.
Dr. Shapiro is really knowledgeable in nerve pain and is aware of the whole body’s reaction to mouth issues.
I highly recommend Sarah, a very gentle but very thorough hygienist. She is so respectful of sensitive gums and I really appreciated all of her information on how to manage my teeth and gums. In the past I was left with lots of pain after a cleaning, but not now. I’m so happy with my decision to visit this office and I look forward to my continued care there. Thank you so much!!

Fantastic dentist, facility, and staff. I highly recommend to anyone wanting the best dental care by not only the dentist but the staff as well. Dr.Shapiro was thorough and explained everything, Melissa at the front desk was so patient and kind, she helped me schedule my appointments which was not easy with my busy schedule. I had a good teeth cleaning experience today at Pacific Dental Excellence. Everyone is friendly and go out if their way to make their patients feel comfortable. Dr. Shapiro does the cleanings himself so he can check each tooth for any problems.
