For Dr. Poksay, his assistant Simone, and the entire clinical team. I have always received above standard care from Dr. Poksay and his dental staff. There’s been some misdiagnosis but they mean well.

However, my recent interaction with Naomi at the front desk, who claims to be the office manager, has left me extremely concerned. When I called to schedule an appointment and update my payment information, I was met with hostility and condescension. Naomi repeatedly emphasized that I could speak to no one but her, using an alarming tone and even suggesting she felt "threatened" by me when I asked for clarification on my outstanding balance. Despite my attempts to resolve the issue, she abruptly hung up on me.

I've invested significant funds in my treatment, including paying over $6,500 for Invisalign, and now I feel blocked from receiving the care I've already paid for. I am genuinely concerned about how my account is being handled and the security of my personal information. It's unfortunate that such an erratic interaction with a single staff member has impacted my ability to continue my treatment with an otherwise outstanding dental team.

Simone the hygienist is the best, very kind and welcoming and so effortlessly professional. That she is on staff shows that this local Dental service cares about their clients. Dr Poksay is very nice & has a great sense of humor, gentle dentistry, his office is immaculately clean, the staff are professional and great people, Poksay Dental was a second opinion and they identified issues that needed to be addressed that other Dentists missed. I highly recommend them they will be my Dental care team for life.

1 star for his billing staff. Although, Dr. Poksay is a good Dentist however his billing staff has always been a battle. She always gives me an incorrect amount whenever I get ready to leave the office. The amount just keeps growing. At the begin of my treatment I was told a certain amount from her, then I'm told a higher amount even when they have taken money from my bank acct. When I asked her about it she had nothing to say as to why. Then when I asked why she has not submitted my bill to the insurance company, there was no explanation there either. I'm never told when they will take money out of my acct so I can make sure there is money in there. The INCONSISTENCY is what drives me crazy. Also, it is rude to talk to your co-worker in another language while you are asking questions. There was a lady in the office while I was waiting to go in and she was angry because she was disputing about her bill too and all she told her was "oh well".

I arrived and had to fill out the typical medical forms which take a while. Once I finished the receptionist claimed I was late for my appointment (even though the forms took almost 15-20 minutes) and that they could not do a cleaning because I was "late" and they could only examine and xray my teeth. X rays are not always covered by insurance and cleanings are the bare minimum preventative care everyone needs. Sounds like they would rather keep charging you money instead of actually take care of patient needs!

I have been a loyal patient of theirs for several years now, and I can confidently say they are the best in the business! Their expertise and care have been evident in every visit, especially during the two root canals I had to undergo. Despite my initial anxieties, their friendly and comforting approach put me at ease throughout the entire process.

The staff is simply amazing! From the warm and welcoming receptionists to the attentive hygienists, everyone makes you feel like family from the moment you step in. The dentists are highly skilled and take the time to explain every procedure, making sure all my questions were answered.

The entire office exudes a sense of professionalism, yet it remains a warm and inviting environment. They truly go above and beyond to ensure their patients' comfort and satisfaction. I genuinely look forward to my dental appointments, knowing I'm in the hands of such caring professionals.

If you're in Novato and looking for a dental office that exceeds all expectations, I wholeheartedly recommend them. I'm grateful to have found such a fantastic team to take care of my dental needs!

Love, love Dr.Poksay! Have been going to his office for 10+ years and he IS the best! His staff is friendly and amazing! Dr. Poksay is brilliant at his craft he is so knowledgeable and really makes you feel comfortable and cared for. My friends say they’ve never had an oral cancer screening.... well it is standard with him! This is the place to go for excellent dental care!!!!
