I had liked this dentist office when it was run by Dr. Pierce, but had moved an hour away and tried to switch to another dentist, which turned out to be a very bad idea. I ended up going back to Dr. Azarinfar, and I'm glad I did. He is worth the drive. He runs his clinic in a rigorous and evidence-based way that I really appreciate. I can also attest to his personal skill, as he repaired a complex chip in my tooth. The dentist I had tried to switch to (that I ended up not liking) had complimented the quality of Dr. A's work! So I can definitely recommend this office for basically anyone in the Bay Area. It is nice (and sadly rare) to be able to trust that you are going to a dentist who is not going to rip you off, and is good at their job.

Dr Azarinfar is a great dentist. Let's you know what he is going to do at each step and makes sure you are comfortable during procedure. He is a perfectionist! His staff are helpful, friendly and thorough. Great dental practice.

I feel very fortunate to have Dr. Azarinfar for my dental needs. He did an excellent job replacing defective crowns and I trust all his recommendations for treatment going forward. The dental hygienists in his practice are very patient and considerate.

I thought I only needed a quick visit to address an alignment issue. Andre instead found two cracked molars. I might have lost both teeth without that discovery. He set time aside to immediately care for me. Marcella took X-rays, commiserating as she did. (Thanks!) Juan took photos. They cover all the bases here. I left with two temporary crowns and a next-step appointment. I’m thankful for the expertise and kindness that’s always on display in this office.

I’m giving the two stars for the front office and Alice. I’ve been going here for years, never a problem and today Dr.A thought it best to run me off. I was instructed to take my daughter to an ortho which I did but it wasn’t the one he recommended. He basically told me that he only refers to top tier dentists so if I can’t afford that then he’s not the one. I have never felt so ashamed in my life. He wasn’t able to express himself calmly or even explain or recommend a path forward. I won’t be going back. Horrible experience filled with total humiliation. I would have hoped for a little more patience and understanding. I sure do miss Dr. Pearce!!!
