Had to switch dentists because they changed their acceptance of my insurance. Always a bit nervous starting with a new dentist. There was no need for my apprehension! Every one of the staff there were incredibly nice, explained what they were doing and were great to work with. I couldn't have been more comfortable.

As a former Registered Dental Assistant, I can personally speak on behave of the team and the work they do. Dr Phipps is so detail oriented and takes his time explaining everything and making sure to clean out everything cavity by take extra steps to checking each tooth he works on. The team (especially Erin) who is the star RDA is SO sweet and caring. Recommend Dr to everyone looking for a kind quality dentist. God bless this establishment.

First things first, I called with tooth pain and was able to get in the next day to have the bad tooth looked at and full exam. That never happens! I also needed to establish a new dentist. They were actually able to get me in the next morning..five stars for just that! Front desk receptionist was Amazing, then examining staff was also Amazing. Kind, gentle, and very caring. Oh but the amazingness didn't stop there! When it was discovered I needed the tooth extraction done they were also able to do it right then. The most patient, caring, gentle Dentist and assistant ever!!! His assistant explained every little detail of the surgery as it was happening. It was like ying and yang!! The two are like peanut butter and jelly. Can't have one without the other!!! I highly recommend them!!!!! Once the surgery was done he really made sure I had an understanding of what to expect over the next few weeks.

My husband, daughter and I have been coming to Dr Phipps since we moved to Auburn in 2018. My husband and I both have had some complex dental needs and have had great outcomes. I completely trust Dr Phipps’ judgement, knowledge, and ability to take care of my family’s dental needs, big and small. The entire staff is knowledgeable, professional, and understanding. One of the best things about this office is that they don’t belong to a big Dental/Medical group where you just become a number and get lost in voice prompts when you call. They’re able to provide personal and immediate assistance. Love this dental office!

As always I was greeted with a smile and a professional manner. Waited a few minutes was taken in back and spoke with the dentist again with having been with Dr Phipps and his office for more than 30 years it was exactly as I expected, very attentive, eager to please, and concerned that I received the care I thought was appropriate. When I got ready to depart and to pay my bill two or three of the chargeable things had been waived and reduced to the minimum of a consult since I had primarily questions and he answered them all.
Great. If you need a family Dentist, then this is the office for you.

Dr phipps is the only dentist I will take my family too. I gladly pay a little more than my insurance allows because I know I’m getting quality meticulous work and the highest grade Materials. I’ve been going to him for 30 years. My kids love him too. It relieves so much stress to have doctor you fully and completely trust.

Mr. Phipps DDS has been taking care of my teeth for almost 10 years now. Let it be known that Mr. Phipps is the best dentist Ever! He does a superior job fixing chipped teeth! His staff is amazing! I just love Michelle, Theresa and Erin! I live in Truckee and make the long commute to Auburn because his practice is second to none! Worth every penny and even if my insurance doesn’t cover all services, I still go to Mr. Phipps and use my Care Credit. Very honest and friendly.

I called in the middle of my workday with a dental emergency. My tooth had an abscess and my jaw was swelling like a balloon. The whole team took time out their day to check me in, and get me operated on ASAP. They did AMAZING work! I was treated fairly and wasn't talked down to for letting this happen to myself. These are people who care about others, and are damn good at what they do. I didn't feel a thing! I'll happily drive out of my way to go here for any future work I need done.

Did I forget to mention this was all at a reasonable price? They've earned my business for life, and that's saying alot.
