I was charged over 33 thousand dollars for implants. After many failed implants and breaking them out of my skull and lost work in was upset. I voiced my opinion and was kicked out of their office for not liking their lack of professionalism. I filed a complaint with the dental board on DR Cheema and was advised by the CA Dental board to seek legal representation. As you can see from my x rays, my implants were implanted sideways, there is much bone loss in 3 years, and no other dentist is willing to touch this mess that Dr Cheema put into my mouth, as they don't want to include themselves in the liability of the horrible work that DR Cheema has placed upon me. Please look at the complaint and the X-rays before you decide you use their services. This will hurt me financially for years to come and I will have to pay much more to fix the horrible work he did and not to mention the pain of having implants broken out of my head for the 3rd and 4th time. I had the worst pain in my cheek that went to my jaw line, neck, and towards my ear. The pain was throbbing on and off for 4 days. I couldn’t take it anymore and I was a wreck! My spouse called Yuba City Dentistry Group. The person who answered the phone was friendly and sympathetic. She gave me a same day appointment. I was full of anxiety and pain when I arrived there. I was greeted right away with a friendly office staff. I was called in quickly and met with a sweet and sympathetic dental assistant that told me everything that would take place. After X-rays the dentist came in shortly after and introduced himself. He saw my obvious distress and assured me he was going to help get rid of the pain! He explained my options and ultimately I was getting a tooth extracted. Then I had my payment options presented to me by another kind and helpful staff member. They even helped me with making the choice that worked for me. Every staff member I came in contact with was friendly and kind. Even though I was in pain I felt relief. During the procedure Dr Virk continued to tell me what he was doing. The entire process quick and professional. I can't thank everyone enough. Tonight I am going to bed pain free! I will definitely be back and I highly recommend them!

Avoid This Dentistry Group – Overcharging and Poor Customer Service

I had a deeply frustrating and disappointing experience with Yuba City Dentistry Group, and I would strongly advise others to steer clear of this practice. My main issue was being overcharged by $1,000, but the problems went far beyond just the billing. Here’s why:

1. Overcharging and Unresolved Billing Issues: The most concerning part of my experience was the massive overcharge of $1,000. When I first noticed the discrepancy on my bill, I reached out for clarification. Instead of offering a simple explanation, the staff seemed resistant to provide any details, hoping I would give up. After persistent follow-ups, they reluctantly broke down the charges—but even they couldn’t explain the overcharge. They admitted that the charges didn’t make sense and promised to “get back to me” after consulting their billing department, which operates in a different time zone. To this day, I’ve heard nothing further from them. It’s clear they either don’t understand their own billing practices or simply don’t care to resolve issues when they arise.

2. Poor Communication and Lack of Transparency: From start to finish, communication with this office was a nightmare. I wasn’t given clear information about my treatment plan, pricing, or what to expect. Every question I asked seemed like an inconvenience to them. When I tried to address the overcharge, I was met with vague answers and a dismissive attitude, leaving me feeling like my concerns were unimportant.

3. Subpar Care and Unprofessionalism: Beyond the billing issues, the overall care I received was lackluster. I felt rushed during my appointments, and there was no effort made to explain procedures or ensure I was comfortable. The dentist through a high pressure sales woman seemed more focused on pushing unnecessary treatments than actually addressing my needs.

4. Lack of Accountability and Customer Service: What really soured the experience was the lack of accountability. Despite my persistent efforts to get answers, no one at the practice seemed genuinely interested in resolving my issue. The promises of follow-up were empty, and I was left with no resolution.

In short, this dental practice is not only unprofessional but also dishonest. The overcharging, combined with poor communication and a complete lack of customer care, has made it clear to me that they are more interested in making a profit than in providing quality care to their patients. I strongly recommend finding a different practice—one that values transparency, accountability, and most importantly, its patients.

If anything does come to resolve my issue, I will update this review.

I have the worst fear of dentist due to unpleasant dentist in the past,but I went here taking a chance due to the worst toothache ever.
He really surprised me he was pleasant, polite! He really has artristy of dentistry, and good- fast with his hands.
He's great I will be going to him for future appointments.

FRAUD. BEWARE OF THIS OFFICE. Called for a Consultation with a dentist. I never saw one. Instead I was over x-rayed and signed up for surgery which I did not want. They kept me hostage for hours. I kept asking where is the dentist. No one answered me. Never saw one. The had me sign a lot of papers and took all the money I had on my CareCredit card, $3,500. They will not return it and nothing happened for me with a Consultation and No surgery. No one set a surgery date at the office. When i got home there was a message for the date of surgery. I cancelled because how can you do surgery if you never saw a dentist to go over what they feel should be done. NO DENTIST CONSULTATION, NO SURGERY, NO CONTRACT. I am now filing with all the agencies about their FRAUD tactics. No one gives their name, even when you ask. I am 77 and was conned. I saw the dentures they had and my dentist of 25 years said that with my jaw bone loss and bones in lower jaw that I could never do dentures. I walked out. I have filed a report with the Police in Yuba City, FTC, State Attorney General, Dental Assn. BBB and 2 other federal Agencies per FTC against this fraudulent dental office. They WILL not refund the money they took and now one of his staff said they are charging $3500 for a digital film. For that you have to put a device in your mouth and that never happened. Care Credit and myself have asked for the x-ray pictures of my teeth. We want to see this digital x-ray. They said 10 days. 10 days is up. Care Credit requested 11/11/24 and has received NOTHING. BEWARE OF THIS OFFICE. The prices are exorbitant, up to $50,000.00. I sent Care Credit pictures of my mouth. I am going to do a polygraph test to prove that they conned me with no dentist that should have seen me for a Consultation, NOT surgery. If I had seen a dentist, they would have heard from me that I cannot do dentures due to constant bone loss and bones in lower jaw. TOTAL FRAUD. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD LIKE I DID OR THEY WILL STEAL ALL YOUR MONEY. i thought they were just going to charge for the x-rays. I asked one of the women when I called, Would you do surgery if you never met the surgeon? Got hung up on 3 times, because I was trying to get reason out of them. NONE. HORRIBLE DISHONEST PLACE. I now have a dentist that said their x-rays were so bad they could NOT read them. They took theirs and I paid for them already. I have only 2 teeth to be fixed per this new dentist.

Great customer service! Got me in super fast. I was having a lot of pain with my wisdom teeth and they took care of me. Sarah was very helpful and went out her way to make sure I was takin care of. Would definitely recommend!

I could not believe how stress-free this whole process has been the moment I walked through their office. I am very grateful for the reviews so I’m going to write one myself to help others decide. They’re very very polite and respectful to your questions and your worries. During the procedure, they took care of me very well I was On an IV, but I was in and out of it, which is normal and I never felt any pain like I thought I would. I am one day postop. I’ve made sure I iced my face and I am one of their success stories. They are beautiful thank you so much. Put your trust in them. I did And because of that, my life Will include this perfect smile And it’ll match the way I feel inside happy.

*Update: dad just had his last appointment and he is very pleased with his outcome! Dentures look great!
My elderly father has been going here for the last few months to get extractions and dentures. They have been so great with him and so kind and patient. It's always a great experience. Glad we chose Yuba city dentistry! We travel from an hour away to go here.
