My regular dentist in Santa Rosa noticed I was developing an infection below the gumline at the tooth root. She suggested I needed to see an expert periodontist. I was sent to Dr. Nassiri in Petaluma for treatment. I made an appointment, met Dr. Nassiri, and had a complete set of x-rays and exam to evaluate my problem tooth. He determined I would need a peri flap procedure to access the tooth root, clean out the bone decay, and put in a small bone graft to stabilize and save the tooth. I scheduled the procedure for 2 weeks later. On the day of the surgery, Dr. Nassiri was very fast and effective and talked to me as he worked so I understood what was going on. The procedure was nearly painless and took about 60 minutes to treat the tooth. I was very impressed with Dr. Nassiri's entire setup from his comfortable waiting room to his modern equipment. He was very kind, professional, and informative throughout the treatment. The morning after the surgery, he called to check in with me on my status. Very considerate. I will have a follow-up in 2 weeks to make sure the process and healing is complete. Overall, a terrific experience and great care from Dr. Nassiri and all of his staff. A very friendly, modern, and professional office. I give it an A+.

I requested dental records to be transferred but there was a delay. The assistant never processed the dental records request and my new periodontist requested to have them asap by my next appointment. I had to speak to the office manager at Petaluma Periodontics. She said she will try to contact my new periodontist, but she was never apologetic. She sounded annoyed by the complaint. Poor customer service.
